I wish I could reply to answers I dunno if anyone will read this, but, to be clear, the plant in question looks like this first thing in the morning before watering and an hour or so after watering it doesn't seem to care. Too much nitrogen is possible but it gets the same amount as all my other plants. I should clarify that when I mix a gallon of nutrients I split it up between two or three plants depending on their size, so none of them should be getting too much of anything. I'm an agricultural biologist, so I already thought of all the possible simple answers. I think this is something more complex than just too much or not enough water, but of course I could be wrong lol.
