Tent: LabTabba 36"x36"x72" Growminer 337 Hydroponic Mylar Grow Tent with Light-Blocking Zipper Flaps, Detachable Fog-Preventing Observation Window and Extra Tall Floor Tray for Indoor Plant Growing Light: Colofrog 2022 CF 1000W LED Grow Light with Samsung LM301H Osram Diodes 3x3ft Coverage Dimmable Sunlike Full Spectrum Grow Lamps for Indoor Plants Hydroponic Veg Flower 3.1 μmol/J D1. Saturated RW cubes with distilled water, dusted the holes with a tiny pinch of Great White myco powder to give taproots a running start. I then carefully placed the seeds (beak down) into their little beds, placed the cubes in a Tupperware bowl and covered them individually with semi-clear plastic for humi-dome. They're now sitting in my window under the late summer NY heat and humi. Should be fine... D4. Started moving the tray from the window during the day to the surface of my PS4 (gets to about 90-100) as a makeshift heat pad a couple days ago. After adjusting the position, i found a spot that gives me steady 75-85 degrees on the RW. It must be a good setup because i checked (carefully) and both seeds popped. Excellent. It seems the Gelat.OG [photoperiod] is ready to sprout any hour now. The Crit+2.0 [autoflower] looks to have a bit of a fight on it's hands but it's moving in the right direction at least. Hoping they break surface over the weekend. Should be fine... D5. Crit+2.0 sprouted! She's a wee bitty thing, but I'm proud of my girl so far. D7. Wooty woot! Gelat.OG is born! Looks like she lost a wing in the fight for life though :'( Crit is also stretching a bit and has some droopy leaves. I won't lie, Having a slight panic today. Please, any advice would be appreciated. D8. gonna do a super lite feeding (100ppm or so) then i think i might put the crit under the light in the tent to try and stop the stretch. G.OG i think will be ok in the window until it's second leaves come in. D8-2. Ok may have over done it with the feeding by forgetting to adjust the ppm and ec. i saturated the rw with the fert mix then filled the bowl to the bottom of the rw with distilled water. also, the light measurements are based on a phone app i calibrated with the output chart from the website (amazon). Fed: .1ml each of FF grow big, FF big bloom, cal-mag .1tsp of GW myco dry 300ml distilled water Mixed then added 5ml of solution to each plant directly on top of RW near root area. added enough water to bowls to reach the bottom of the RW. Light: approx. 950 to 1050 umol/m*2 (based on galaxy s21 ultra camera and app)

keep it simple until you get some good healthy seed to harvst grows down... then worry about gimicks and expensive products that promise things with virtually no evidence to support it, lol.... having a baseline before you try these things will make it more easily discernable whether they actually helped at all.. or just stroking ppl's egos and elying on them avoiding buyer's remorse and recommending it to others, bwahahah.. be systematic about light levels and how you fertilize to start,... keep track of age of plant and power of light / height of light etc etc.. this stuff will be similar each time given same environment. know what you fed... the products you used.. (looks like rockwool / hydro so even easier to do!!) since oyu are hydro, i'd keep track of you ppms of n/p/k/ca/ mg/ s ... at least calculate it once and doesn't need to be done each time you make tiny adjustments -- you may even play mad scientist with different mixes fo different stages of life. I stick to just affecting conentration while retaining ratios for most part and that works well. sometimes have to dip N in bloom 5-10%, but i am probably pushing N before that point and could easily be a slow buildup too. because i track what i feed, it's super easy to diagnose anything i see and make a quick confident adjustment to a known formula that woks well on 90-percent or more of plants i have geminated. in my exp the plant's genetics are 95% of it. of the other 5%, it is mostly us not stepping on our own dicks (or flaps).

@SuperCoolFungi First of all welcome to a brand new hobby that I think you will find extremely rewarding I know I do!! Now don't be too stressed about achieving massive yields on your first grow and instead try to get a feel for how the plants respond to different things set a routine for feeding checking ph/ec etc that benefits both you and the plants dont be too impatient when they are nearing harvest they will be better if you let them finish properly Also don't be tricked into buying all of those un needed extras for hydroponics like sweeteners and other additives they are'nt needed and are there simply for the manufacturers to make $$ Lastly READ READ and READ some more preferably from experienced growers that have grown more than just a handful of plants

High bro, When you grow inside a DWC system your best guidline is to measure everyday. Measure your pH, measure your EC, measure the temperature. The DWC is a beautiful way to grow and the best way to be fully in control about your grow. I would read a lot on websites like rollitup, the website of seeds breeders usually have some good tips and ofcourse growdiaries. The beauty of this website is that you can search for diaries from the strain that you use. Or filter your diaries on only DWC system diaries to learn from them! Goodluck with your new hobby and Happy Growing! 😋

*BIG UPDATE COMING* Whoooooooa boy! Things have been hectic these past few week, to say the least... Haven't been taking the time to update my diary (or do ANY basic QoL stuff). But fret not, good folks! I've been doing my best to keep up with the little ladies and they're doing ok. I have pics, notes, schedules, new equipment, yadda yadda, all coming over the next few days as i organize and get it all on here. whew. Here we go then... Please stay tuned. Thanks guys. I appreciate the patience. D10. My AC Infinity 6" exhaust fan just got here! PUMPED! Now to learn how to use it... I also have a 6" TerraBloom booster fan (240cfm) for intake pulling air from outside, which isn't all that much helpful honestly. I'm gonna need to start thinking about cold air soon. D11. Ok so I've decided to move the girls into the tent today. Not into the buckets yet, but into the environment. The tent is still running warm and humid so I'm looking to decrease it steadily over the next few days as they acclimate. I think i kinda stressed them in the window and at this point i'm watching for any signs of stress. D12. Still hot. D14. They seem ok.

Ok so hey my bad guys. Like I said shts been crazy for my lately so my notes here may be a little vague. I'll try to get all the important stuff in, but the only real things of note that went on this week were me putting the babies into their forever home buckets and giving them their first real round of lite nutes. Details are as follows... *NUTRIENTS* Fox Farms Grow Big - 11.9ml/4.5gal Fox Farms Big Bloom - 5.5ml/4.5gal Great White Shark - .75tsp/4.5gal Gelat.OG Photo: Ph - 6.2 EC - 747uS/cm PPM - 350 Temp - 76.6 Critical+2.0 Auto: Ph - 6.0 EC - 650uS/cm PPM - 325 Temp - 77.9 D16. Time for their final move! Congrats, ladies! Spent the whole day rinsing and cleaning and prepping and prcticing and blah blah blah, but i came up with a good system, i think. The DWC buckets are from Root Spa and they have these little holes at the base of the bucket with a grommet and a 90 degree elbow going into a blue/clear tube up the side of the bucket. It's meant to run the 1/8" air hose through so you can make air bubbles. I scrapped that idea and bough 4" airstone disks and ran the hose through the clay balls and net pot. now the hose at the side of the buckets are used as water level guages. bingo. I did math for 1/4 the suggested feeding x 4.5 gallons and mixed each bucket of solution, soaked the clayballs in it for a bit the set the RW cube into the net pots with about 1.5-2" of space to the water. repeat. the light is set at 14" still and i'm not sure yet when to change it to what lol. Help? Otherwise, the tent is running a little hot and wet (giggity) still, but it's coming down with practice. D18. Phew. Just about caught up... The girls are looking really happy already! Gelat looks ready to explode. My poor Cripple Crit is stronger than i am lol. I got the temp pretty stable by running a bunch of ducting along the ceiling and upstairs to my livingroom where the ac is super chilly when it runs but is otherwise usually much cooler. I took the booster fan and mounted it to the ceiling halfway between the two lengths of ducting, but there are still a lot of bends and curves so that so-called 240cfm is lookin real meh. ordered another booster and i'm gonna attach it to the intake end upstairs then build a lil box around it. it'll have to do. The AC fan is a masterwork of engineering as you learn to use it. gives you a lot of options. I finally got it to where I can run it between 2 and 3 and exchange a good amount of air while also pulling a little from upstairs. So yea, this is pretty much where i'm at. pics and other deets to follow soon. Thanks for stopping by!
