Day 69 from switch to 12/12 lighting and it’s chop day. Very few new pistils have formed and the brown ones are wilting. The trichomes on the buds are mostly cloudy with a few ambers, while the leaves look very amber. (Sorry about the quality of the pictures, still working on it )
I’m taking a completely different approach this time. My ambient humidity this time of year is low 40s on average. I’d like the plant to take longer to dry, so I cut the plant and hung the whole thing upside down. I only removed the larger fan leaves, anything with an obvious petiole. I’m leaving the rest to dry, then I’ll trim before I jar it up.
I will post a harvest report after, thanks for following along 😘
Funny to see a FIM fail, indoors. Outdoors I protect the fimm’d node by taping the branch, right beneath the FIM.
Only makes sense when indoors, your Loading the Branches with Huge frickin budz!!!!! Joking of course. Super nice grow. Glad you met Durban Poison. True champion
There are some real nice crosses that have been made with Durban Poison. It’ll be great every time you return to it. Have a great Cure. Lock some up for 90 days! You’ll be surprised.
Cheers
@trerevilo, Thanks 😊 the high lasts 2 or 3 hours now that it’s cured for several weeks. I tend to have only a few puffs at a time though, it’s kinda strong. I’m liking it more and more!
