This my second run with Snowcap. Different breeder this time though so I am curious to find out how they turn out. I'm planning on growing less plants this time, more training and a longer veg cycle.

One of the seedlings died a few days after germination. I immediately popped another seed and everything is going well

Yellow spots on leaves? Soil is fox farm ocean forest. Using down to earth dry amendments 4-4-4 that was mixed in when planted. Watering with dechlorinated ph adjusted tap water.

Well, for one thing, you've overloaded it with nitrogen... Fox Farm Ocean Forest is loaded with it (the NPK of the soil itself is 4-1-1), now you add dry amendments with 4-4-4 and you've got pretty hot soil. The yellow spots are looking like the start of a calcium deficiency - the calcium being blocked by the nitrogen overload. If this were mine, I'd transplant into a larger pot WITHOUT the amendments (it needs it anyway) and give it only pH'd water for a couple of weeks. The soil will feed the plant for those weeks and hopefully doing this will allow the plant to take up the calcium it needs. Good luck...

Getting some pretty fast growth after transplanting. I want to veg as long as possible before flipping to 12/12. Gonna top dress today and give compost tea.

There is some deficiency going on. Not sure exactly but my guess is nitrogen. I top dressed a week ago but they haven't had time to absorb I think. I don't want to flower until I get this under control.

Things are going alot better. Fed them compost tea made with bat guano, kelp meal, worm castings and molasses and did a little lower branch defoliating. Top dressed with organic flowering nutrients 2 days ago to prepare them for flower. They seem really happy now and praying. Going to flower them today.

End of week 2 of flowering. Budlets are beginning to form. I gave a final top dress of organic flowering nutrients. I defoliated and pruned more of the bottom growth today to minimize larf development. I'm only gonna give compost tea and water until harvest.
