Started this diary week 5-ish. Sorry if the weeks are weird, the photo day numbers are right though. So, A fill in then. I'm calling Day 1, this photo. I germinated in paper towel, set the seed, let it stretch its legs, topped up the pot with extra soil, instead of digging in further. Done. Leave it alone, (yeah, right) and lets try and grow this all the way through. I have some plants about 3 weeks ahead of this, but I've never finished a plant before, and I made a bunch of mistakes with them. This is my first SERIOUS attempt.

Looking back I should've waited another day on the topping, but, like with the coming LST, make a decision and commit.

Mostly I've left it alone. That centre really filled out (FIM too early, I guess), its crowded in there. I may have started LST here, but I don't recall.

I cranked the LST pretty hard, on all 4 limbs, trying to let in the light on the little one in the centre. I'm interested to see where this goes from here. From this entry we are all caught up, doing this a few days after the LST, She is super strong and responded great to that, and I think just starting to turn to flowering. I will stick to just the Floramax for now, as its for Veg & Bloom. Though I have Budstorm waiting to go for when it seems right. Thanks for all the lessons from YOUR diaries. Any tips from Older Stoner Members (ha) are welcome. - Midweek- REALLY responded to Sundays LST, did More Wednesday night. One side is a bit weird, but I'm assuming thats the lighting, and having to rotate them.

5 seconds new, Its all school time for me. Patience, grasshopper. If I stop comparing how far along I think it should be, I think I'm doing a half decent job of helping out along the way. Seems healthy, getting thirsty. I started to add in the Budstorm , 1ml/L added into the same Floramax Veg-1. K.I.S.Stupid.

Start the week in a new home. Seems like a good plant to try SCROGging. Took off all the wire tie-downs, see if she fills out. Oh, new digs is 70 x 70cm. End of week. Day 51. Seems very happy, healthy and thirsty, easily a litre a day. The screen is useful but makes access for watering and trimming an issue. Also, I can't shuffle between my tents as easy, its fixed real estate. I think I enjoy the hands in there bonsai approach more, The wire tie downs, Kmart spinners, and ease of access seem better to me, so far. But, thats the point of this, long term, when the plant has full size, what is going to be most effective. THE BUDS. Oh, to explain, I have 2 other tents to play with, a 70x70x160 and 1mx1mx2m, still working out the best uses of the available space/light, and I need to make one a 12hr schedule tent at somepoint soon. Any suggestions on how to simplify all the juggling would be appreciated. Auto's and photoperiod, I really didn't know what I was in for when I started in on this. I love it, but long term commitment is why I don't have kids.

So, I don't know if this is normal, but, I LOWERED the net. Pulled things flatter, let the underside have a chance to come up, take the time to spread em out. Photo's are after a thin out. *53* When thinning it seems to me the leaves I want to take, nearly always seem to have a purplish tinge to he stem anyway, as if they've done their bit and can go if necessary. This seems reasonably intuitive to me, and when I check from above the leaf is nearly always blocking light to somewhere it could be used. But then again, I am also removing a generator in the producing side of things. If anyone can throw some light(unintentional ha) on the science of that, I'm up for the maintainence if thats where the quality is. And the centrething had to be laid over. Thats about as even as I can get. Still averaging 1L a day, I expect everything to just fatten up from here on forward. - *55* Unplanned haircut and check up. Still drinking hard, that tip has outgrown things, I'm not even looking small yet, she's still growing. Advanced warning, I can't be f@%ked with microscope photos

So. Uncertainty sets in!!!! Have I been defoliating to much? Where are all the trichomes? Did I brush them all off with my incessent trimming? Did the trimming help or hinder? Is it just slow and steady? Will Unicorn's burst into existence if enough of us believe? Do we really need that? Image the impalements. Anyway, I'm happy with where things are. I've got a lot to learn, and time takes time. Things are slowing down, not as thirsty this morning. I trimmed, reset some of the lower LST wires just to take any pinching out of the netting and the buds above, a good thing!! I spotted a lean for the centre cola which I could bend a bit forward and left, opening up a few little areas I couldn't access before. Time will tell. So, with NO experience to go on, there's gotta be another 3 weeks of life left in it, I will probably start just back to water from here, the plant seems to know what its doing😎 So, research then, Got my magnifying glass, tick. But is it the hairs I'm supposed to be watching, or the fairy dust? My guess - The hairs. (maybe)(95%)(cos the plants pulling everthing in,right?) . **Thanks for the kind words mid week** Havn't figured out if this thing chats yet. After some follow up advice/research, there's still some way to go,it seems, just when I was going to dial it back to water, give a bit more. Day 65. Definetly noticed the smell increase. Have only been running the extraction/filter in on/off every 15mins.

I've only had the internet and what seems most intuitive (to me) to go on. I wanted soil and K.I.S.Stupid. I'm not trying to grow industrial, just quality for myself. Any suggestions are appreciated. Be Safe, All

K.I.S.S principle........my favourite. K.I.S.S. answer = start a flush when there are about 95% brown pistils and harvest about 2 weeks later when there are 98-99% brown pistils. This will put your plant in the "10-30% amber trichomes" zone without having to look too closely and is also when your plant will have peak THC levels. Going by your pictures you are right, another 4 weeks or so still to go. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Busy. This having a job shit doesn't give me the time to do what I want, but it does keep me grounded in reality and my importance in the cosmic scheme of things. So there's that. Yay Hows that for Zen

I got distracted around here. I was fooling aroung with photoperiod as well. I forgot to keep it simple, shot for the moon, timed it all wrong, and just kept on getting in my own way. Disheartening, still I learned something. Anyway, the Blackberry. Looks, nearly done. All white. I could cut now, but I havn't ever grown out this far before, so I might as well go on until I can at least spot the amber change, I've come this far.
