So I've only grown one strain from this breeder and have had success with their granddaddy purp which im also growing outdoor currently. This seed germinated and stood up in about 24hrs so it says a lot about the genetics of this seed, let's see how it turns out in 4 months
Had a heating issue where I forgot to put the AC on in the bedroom where the tent is and the inside tent temp when I got home from work was 105 degrees. The leaves were wilted badly and soft, I kept the humidity low and lowered the light power down for a few days before I decided to bring it out on the roof for some fresh air. Its looking good again and I removed some of the affected leaf parts and not the entire thing.
Plant has recovered completely but I will allow the leaves to die on their own rather than removing them. Switched to synthetic nutes for a little faster uptake to help with the heat stress, not sure if I will go back to the organic later.
Genetics solid so far and it's made a full recovery and all new growth nice and green, will top her soon and do more LST. If it continues to grow this great outside I'll probably flip sooner
Not planning to top this plant just training and defoliation, had to bring it inside after the Hella Jelly flipped and I definitely did not want this or the others to flip so soon.
So out of the other plants this one seems to have done the best with minimal attention, it took me until week 2-3 of flower to finally get in and clean up the plants and train. Its been a long year and I'm super tired right now but everytime I decide to step back someone sends me new beans. She's frosty and developing alot of trichromes on the fan leaves, will be trying out UVB for the first time starting in week 5 or 6.
Smells of cookies and as you can see SUPER frosty from top to bottom, even the fan leaves have a lot of frost. She has another 3 weeks I believe so she will get 1 more weeks of nutes and then water for the remaining 2 weeks
Plant has a 8-10 week flower time but I went ahead and pulled the nutes 2 weeks ago and she still hasn't started to fade much with that or the temp change. The buds a frosty but the buds are rather fluffy and it has a high trim to bud ratio, on the bright side the buds are very oily and sticky
Super frosty and oily buds are the end result, cut down the buds on 12/5 and they will dry for as long as it take before during. I will not return with the harvest and smoke report until 1/1/23 as this will be sparked at midnight
Frosty and VERY oily buds would be great for wax if I had a press, she's not that resistant to spidermites but if caught early they won't destroy the plant. The buds were a lil fluffy but the way it smoked you don't worry about it. I had it at night while relaxing around 9p and I had to clip it and woke up the following morning. Definitely some rapper weed if you ask me.
