- Some plants did not like the transplant and increased EC at the same time. Gave them a good 'flushing' with a 25% strength solution. pH is in check; runoff EC was nothing out of the ordinary. Not a problem, saves money on nutes. ;)
- Kept it very simple this week as plants 4 and 5 are not showing much growth since potting up.
-Dimmed the light a tad as the plants were a bit closer after potting up. RH% has also been lowered. I noticed they responded better if keeping the RH% <70%.
-Leaf Temp is usually a solid 2F below air temp, measured using an infrared thermometer.
-The previous week, due to less volume per fertigation, I was using remnants the next x# of feedings which also contained Recharge. This might have happened three or four straight fertigation events. I'm thinking it have been a little too heavy on the Recharge as it does contain some kelp. I'll make much smaller batches in the future. One quart of solution should suffice while the plants are young and in starter pots.
-I prefer plastic starter pots for transplanting, however, I'm really noticing how much better the fabric bags are for aeration. In the future, I may consider air pots, or just drilling/burning some holes in my starter ports. Final destination are 5-gallon Spring XL Bags for the Autopot System
-As soon as these are transplanted to 5-gal, I will begin LST. That's when I expect exploding growth and will be tucking more than Buffalo Bill in the mirror on a Friday night. 😆😆😲
