Blueberry OG c/o KIZ

After a terrible time getting about 10 seeds to germinate, I am unfortunately only left with 1. She wasn't looking great at the beginning of the week, started showing signs of what looked like CalMag deficiency. As my tap water EC is about 0.5, I don't want to be adding CalMag just yet, so I made a foliar spray and her new leaves are looking healthier than the first set. Definitely need to focus more and adopt better practices, my beginner's luck is running out. With some organised training and transplanting, I should be able to help her thrive on her own in the tent. I have all the faith in her! Any help would be appreciated guys. I've been struggling to socialise and take initiative to get better. Starting now that changes! 🙏

Starting to get into the swing of things! Decided to top her before transplanting into final container, which ended up being the best decision. Topped to 4th node, removing everything except 2 growth tips and the leaves from 3rd&4th nodes. She bounced back really well! Going to transplant at the start of next week. After a rough start this time round, I’m so happy to be back and feeling hopeful. This girl looks sooooo good and I’m gonna make sure she gets lots of love & training. Have a great week people!!! 💚

What’s up guys?!! Been a big week for Blueberry OG. After the first topping last week, she recovered almost instantly and continued growing, was able to be transplanted at the start of this week and was ready for her second topping within a week of the first. Started noticing a little bit of what I think is Nitrogen toxicity, due to the leaves clawing and taking on a darker shiny green colour when I took pictures with flash. It wasn’t very serious, but I changed my nutrient solution and she’s looking waaaaay healthier now, so that’s one less thing to worry bout. LST is going well too, I can’t wait to train this girl to be the size of the whole tent. Got high hopes!! She’s honestly my best friend, I know that sounds lame 💚🌴🌱🌷👊

It’s that time of the week again! She’s made some wonderful progress, and I’m really happy with the symmetry in my training. Did a little bit of defoliation here and there, making sure things weren’t getting too crowded. Environment has been really easy to manage. No need for me to use the new portable AC unit I just got! It’s nice to have one for drying and in the hottest part of summer but I don’t enjoy the noise and electricity usage. Overall, a pretty chill and happy week for the Blueberry OG

WEEK 6 2/9 - 9/9 Hey guys! 🤠 this week has been a pretty good one. Lots of tops are starting to poke through her canopy, and I’m really excited to get them all into the squares of my AC Infinity 2x4 trellis net! Been keeping on top of defoliation as leaf growth has been insane and so I don’t want any tops to be hidden by big fan leaves. I briefly took the plant ties off, to let her grow vertically for a few days, but will put them back on. Humidity has been getting higher, about 60%, so I’m going to get the dehumidifier on because I’ll be flipping to 12/12 very soon. Just want to make sure she’s big enough, as I want to get as much as I can from her in this 2x4! I would normally have 2 girls in 20L pots in this tent, but my other seeds died. So hopefully she can still fill up the tent in the 20L, like the Biscotti Mintz I grew (see profile). Her main stem seems to be leaning a bit. I’m a little worried, but the roots seem to be holding her in place pretty well. Other than that, no worries really! She looks super healthy and I’m feeling a little neglectful by not being at home all too often, but she seems to be happy. Hope things continue like this! Love you all, have a great week 💚🌷

This plant has officially been in veg for longer than any of my past grows! Just making sure she’ll fill up the tent nicely. Wishing I had some extra tent poles to fasten the scrog net to, as I’m not a fan of the bowing in 🤣 unluckily I can’t find any 2x4 grow tent space boosters so will have to figure out how to make my own. Week has been pretty nice! Nothing to worry about, just trying to decide when to flip the lights. Training is going well, I’m slowly defoliating and removing lower growth tips, and tucking under the net when possible. Just so excited for the next stage. Finished her first week of flower!!! Honestly this stuff will never get old. So excited to see how she’ll turn out. This girl has had the longest veg time I’ve done, and so hopefully she’s gives my past ones a run for their money! She’s been stretching well. Trellis net is bowing in, and I’m having trouble finding a good way to fix it. I can’t find any grow tent space booster poles that fit the 2x4!! It’s still working pretty well though. Going to install a second string net that I can tape to the tent walls to stop it from bowing in. No problems with nutes or anything so far by the looks of it. Lowering the EC of my tap water with a full tank of dehumidifier water each time I prepare some solution. See you next week for another update!! Love 💚👋

The weeks just keep getting better! I haven’t been around too much this week, but left to her own devices this Blueberry OG has really come into her own. Comparing her to my last couple grows, the pistils and bud sites are looking about a week ahead! Very proud of her progress, just going to keep providing the love, and hopefully she continues to thrive in the tent!! Height is great. She could still get really tall but I think I won't run into any vertical space issues with this one. Happy! Also getting quite bushy now, but there’s only a week left until she gets a fat defoliation. Soooooo excited to get rid of some of these leaves and give her space to breathe. She’s also drinking loads!! Would ideally be feeding more frequently to ensure she isn’t drying out too much in between waterings, but since I’m only hand-watering, I’m constrained to twice a day. 💪👽🍃

She’s glorious!!! She’s making soooo much progress, and I’m here for it. Not much change to the nutrient ratios, other than 0.1ml/l more A&B. I realised I’m using SHOGUN Boost which is 2x the strength of CANNA!!! So shogun suggests no more than 2ml/l but I’ve been using 3ml!!! Hope it doesn’t damage her… she’s getting a couple of brown pistils which I’m thinking is a little early but she’s maturing quickly!! Defoliation was really interesting. Started off so bushy, it took me 3 days to get it all done! I’m still thinking there’s more I could do, as in a few days/weeks she’ll be bushy again!! Don’t want to go too hard though. She’s just got so much going on I want to make sure every single nug gets some love. Can’t wait to see what happens this next month!!! Catch you next week 🤘💚🍃🌷🕊️

Yo!! Sorry for posting a week late! she’s responding really well to my extensive defoliation from last week (week 3). Bouncing back hard! Things are getting a little more humid in the tent than I’d like; Getting nice and bushy, gonna be ready for some more defol in a week or two, or at the very least a little trim. Started adding my PK nute this week. A little early, but she’s looking like a quick flowerer, so wanted to give her the best tools to thrive with. Very proud of the progress!

Wow!!! This last week, the Blueberry OG has been fattening up her buds like crazy. Fat trichomes are starting to give the buds that Sour patch kids look 🤣 the smell just gets more and more incredible; assorted berries, and really gassy. Love it!! PK and boost have definitely been doing their jobs right 😁 Few leaf tips getting what looks to be a lil nutrient burn. Mixing my solution with dehumidifier water to bring the EC down to fix this. Humidity is STILL a lil high. But that’s okay because I am too. Gonna do my best to keep it clean and tidy in there and try to tackle my RH with good airflow and temps. That’s all really. All good news this week! Environment is stable, and she’s really fattening up. Got a little bushy, so defoliated at the end of this week/start of week F7 to make room for these beautiful buds. The smell just keeps getting stronger, and it’s wonderful. Such an intense berriness I’m obsessed! Plan on giving her a nice long dry with my new AC unit to keep temps low, but she’s got a couple weeks before chop me thinks. Decreased amount of A&B I’m using as I started seeing a slight amount of nutrient burn on the leaf tips. As we’re approaching the end of flowering and her needs are less intense, it seems appropriate anyway. Next week will be more great updates I promise!! 💚🍃🌷

Final week done!! Soooo happy to make it here again. Another successful grow under my belt! Been giving her 0ppm water from a nearby pure water station. Seems to do the job! Not much to say this week really, I’m just super-focused on getting her trimmed and *slowly* dried! Cannabis is such an important medicine for me, in so many more ways than just consuming it. Growing keeps me at bay with my mental illness and I’m so astonished with how content I am, now I have a plant to look after. Days are still hard, but it’s so much easier to cope. Phew!!! Not going to lie I’m really glad the week is over. After chopping on Friday, the wet trim race was on. My girlfriend and I were stuck inside until 4am Monday morning getting Blueberry OG trimmed! Sooo grateful for her help though. It was long, but well worth it. Set up an AC Infinity 2x2 with a drying net and my AC unit kept the room at about 17c for most of the time. Friday (yesterday), after a week in the net, the smaller buds were feeling a little crispy so I knew it was time and after checking the other buds and doing some other finishing touches I threw them into some grove bags to cure. Now I can finally relax ☺️ Have a great day everyone! You mean so much to me, it’s great to have a community on here.
