8/13- She is starting off decent so far. Can't wait to see what she becomes and how she does compared to the same strain in the same mix but in a 3 gallon fabric pot. I know it will do well either way. I will update as she progresses. Happy growing to everyone!
8/21- Last week went well. She has been growing steady and is starting to increase her growth rates. Was topped after the 4th set of true leaves. Will begin LST once the branches are long enough. Going to be growing several others of this awesome strain. Always produces well and is in my favorite strains of all time! ILGM's genetics are always reliable for awesome results and quality. Lots of fun to come!
8/25- She is coming along beautifully. Growth rate is increasing and showing great potential. Roots are establishing nicely based on growth and appearance. Will be starting LST soon as well as I will give first amendment of organic nutrients. Always a pleasure growing this strain. Going to use a branch on one of the GDP's to make feminized pollen for auto crosses. I will update as she progresses. Some real fun to come. Happy growing to everyone.
9/2- Last week went well. She has been growing steady as expected for the age. Once the stretch is finished, she will be a good sized bush. Should be a good result in the end as long as I can get the pests killed off. Time will tell. Going to reverse a branch on one of the GDP'S to make some crosses. I will update as she progresses. 9/10- Last week went well. She has been stretching and starting to show some flower development. Should be some good size colas in the end. I moved the lights closer and am trying to maintain a high DLI without damaging her leaves. The other GDP's are doing well and getting bigger. I will update as she progresses. 9/17- Last week went well. She has stretched some and is putting on bud mass. Appears to be making some decent sized colas. All of the GDP's are doing great. Great strain and ILGM's genetics are always reliable! I will update as she progresses. Happy growing to everyone!
9/24- Last week went well. She is just beefing up daily. Seems to be done with most vertical growth. Removed the lower growth and I think it's going to allow this beauty to create some nice fat colas! I will update as she progresses. Happy growing to everyone!
10/2- Last week went well. She is beefing up as good as can be hoped for. Smell is getting stronger. Has a kushy grape smell with a pungent smell I can't place. Buds are good sized and surprisingly solid for being this early in flower. I will update as she progresses. Happy growing to everyone!
10/10- Last week went well. Her trichomes are about 15% amber. Started flushing and should be done in about a week or so. Buds are big and meaty! Dying to try it out. Have 4 different GDP'S going and I can't wait to try each one. The super purple pheno has the biggest difference in smell. More of a tart grape cool aid smell with some fermented juice. Going to be starting another one and going to cross it with MSNL's purple lemonade. Im thinking the color should stay and the mix of terps will be awesome! I can't wait to see. Lots of fun to come! Will report once dried properly and ready to cure. Took a sample bud from the lowest part and dried it out. Based on that, she is smooth with a kushy grape with a floral background. The effect is just what you would expect from a great indica, some cerebral effects to start that is directly followed by a wave of relaxation and the effects for the body begin. A comfortable warmth with deep muscle relaxation. Helps soothe pains and can ease you to sleep. Ideal afternoon smoke. Will update once properly finished. Great job as usual ILGM!
10/18- Last week went well! She has been flushed for the last 2 weeks and is about ready to get the chop. Spent the last 36 hours in darkness. Her trichomes are about 35% amber on the lower buds. Should be a good spot for relaxation. Love this strain so much. Have 3 others that are not far from being ready. Will be starting more soon. Want to breed with this strain! I know it's going to be one of the best to breed with. I always love anything that is an offspring of Grand Daddy Purple! Happy growing to everyone!
Sorry but another?, what humidity was your tent for germinate and seedling pop out, mine are in 5 gal fabric pots, I'm just having problems, been thru 5 seeds
@doggiedeb,I let my seeds soak in water until they split and the tail starts. I then make a small hole about the size of an eraser and put the seed in and gently cover. I try to keep my humidity around 55-65% for germinating and veg. I spray the place that the seed is set with a spray bottle and pH'ed water. Do this just enough to make sure it keeps some moisture. That's what I do and get 90%+ success rate. Sorry for the late response. Hope you have had some luck!
Not sure if you’re still active on here or not since last grow entry was a year ago but my GDP at 6 weeks looks like yours at 3-4 weeks. Growing in Fox Farm happy frog soil and using their nutes. She still growing just seems WAY behind
@Ksouth1,Exactly what I was looking for thank you for taking the time to help me out it’s really appreciated! I was starting to get real discouraged when I was so excited to finally grow my own stuff. Didn’t realize was gonna be so much involved far as like temps and humidity and stuff
@GMoneyGrow, I'd use coco loco at %33, coco coir from biobizz at %33 and %34 perlite. Id add 1-2 cups of worm casting and id add mychorize. At week 3-4 depending on the looks of the plant I would add 1/4 cup of Dr Earths Home Grown for a 5 gallon container. I also it sed calmag at different levels from the first watering. I start with about .5 ml and work my way up according to size and needs of the plants. Just wanted to give you a general idea to hopefully make it easier for you!
@Ksouth1,Yeah I saw YouTube videos on organic grows only after I went the fox farm route cuz that was recommended when searching growing cannabis in soil. I see the list of stuff you used but don’t know the process of it like what to mix for the soil and what not
