I have been playing with this strain for about a year now even though it started with just one seed. Here is one of last of six different clone strikes I have taken from that one seed one year ago, and yes it is a bit tired now and nowhere near as vigorous as she was this time last year it still managed to fight of the variegation it was suffering from and start to come around for another flush. I will use a sister clone in the months ahead for a Kiwi Organic Outdoor grow diary.
Got to give to Barney's Farm. This cultivar is a wonder. Incredibly bushy but she has a nice flow so it doesn't really need that much pruning early on. Also it gets real Z bends in the stems which can make things convoluted so Ive learnt to be quite ruthless when the buds are just starting to ensure even light distribution. The Vigour this plant exudes with blow your mind. I will need to replace my mother now as she is a bit tired. Lets see how this does over the next few weeks. Its a very pretty strain and fills the place with the smell of ripe tropical fruit when in final stages...which I've found is great when growing outdoors for not drawing attention. My prediction is it will top 2oz..easily.
30cms high and 60cms wide...oh I do love this strain. She has fought off most of the variegation now which held her back a bit in the start...but you wouldn't know now, would you?
Next few weeks will be fun I hope you follow along.
Gosh I just love this Strain from Barney's Farm...her structure isn't too tricky is you give it space. Right now she is just starting to sweat a mild but definitive fruity banana scent! Knowing Tropicanna like I do I know you will just love watching it bolt over the next 3-4weeks. Hehe like I said I love this strain!
Such a shorty this one...stinks so bad of banana and fruit salad right now..as you can see it needed defoliation quite badly even though branches are well spaced the buds are so well packed onto the branches the more light that gets on them the better. Yum..this is one hell of a desert strain.
Hi everyone, so true to what I have learned about Tropicanna Banana after the final defoliation (performed last week) she is best left alone (with my style of growing) to do her own thing. All I am doing is rotating her daily to ensure even light distribution. You can see she is happy and we really will start to see her come into her own over the next 2-3weeks.
Aww aint she beautiful! DROOOOOLLL!!! Didn't I say this Pheno was a stunner? Wasn't wrong was I? If it hadn't been so cold over the last month she would have performed even better...Hard to believe right. Well do follow my outdoor diary and my new soon to come Tropicanna Banana diary #2. Sticky buds everyone!
An Exotic most strangely aromatic herb! I mean if you aren't used to your weed smelling like someone squished a ripe banana in your vicinity then this will have you in wonders every time you slowly inhale that mind-blowing fruity terp profile! This strain is a keeper and will forever be a go to for me. The high is exhilarating, breathtaking, psychedelic and morish! The banana flavour greets you from the moment you pop the jar to the lingering flavour left up to 15mins later on your palate and through the middle of that is a whimsical journey of giggles and utter nonsense and joy of it all surrounded by a thick sweet smoke that will make your neighbours jealous! Get out there and support Barney's Farm, they do all the hard work so you dont have to...and do grow Tropicanna Banana if you get a chance. Sticky Buds folks!
I could have let this one get a bit bigger before turning her but dont worry I have another im about to start a diary with that im going to allow to get twice as big before I do so. Stay tuned for that goodness to start in the next week..along with my outdoor Tropicanna grow that should keep you guys busy for a bit. So as usual this strain did not disappoint. It is epic in every way, low maintenance, short profile, minimal pruning and topping required ( if any)...This is strong STRONG weed and such a high yielder! I can say with confidence if you were to let this strain go the full 60 daze without all the stress of cold shock this poor girl had on her journey you would almost double the yield I got. Im very happy with this shorty and look forward to showcasing her sister clone in the coming weeks where I will allow her to get a lot bigger before turn her. Thanks for stopping by... Sticky buds everyone1
Very Very good genetics, I've heard a lot of good things about this strain, and it looks really good, full of buds, wich will be fat ones, wish you happy growing.👍
@Ancient_Genetics,
You are right, even though this started out as a tired clone from a 14month old mother, she still came around and started producing. I would recommend this strain to anyone! The smell is like slightly old squashed banana at the moment..which is so weird and delightful all at the same time.
@CannabisRomania, I've heard nothing but good things ..I don't trust those trimming brushes yet .they are just so outside of the box I'm not prepared to try them...maybe in a few years. But curved blade seems to be the business. This is a new set up so I figured I had better get new trimming equipment as well. Not that I ever harvest that much indoor ...an oz or so every couple of weeks suits my medical requirements. Sticky Buds bro!
@@Alchemy_Aotearoa, I’m glad brother, I have some curve balade ones… amazing, 3-5 euro, like nothing, but they work amazing for triming, pruning or cuting, you will see the diference🤗 good luck buddy
NICEEEE man, she looks great, very happy, and she looks so frozen, I could eat that sweet bud, I think she's close to cutting, great job. Happy growing man.👌
@Ancient_Genetics, Thank AG! I didn't have to do much to get her like this...that's all Barney's Farm genetics. Even in the bitter cold she performed. I'll be cutting her the moment the new pistils grow out within the next couple of daze maybe even today. Stay tuned for harvest!
Oh man😍, she looks great, very happy, and she looks so frozen, I could eat that sweet bud, I think she's close to cutting, great job. Happy growing man.
