Hello all - they are still running a little slow - they are now 13 days old, they are growing albeit a touch slow. This said I can pinpoint the slowness coming from the excess heat I have been battling with since they popped. EC is at 1.4 mainly calmag and Green Haze grow A&B, PH is at 6.4, I normally run closer to 5.8 but I am trying a higher PH in coco to see if it makes much difference. A touch of Calmag def on the NL Haze, but nothing to worry about, and since giving a little extra dash of calmag the new growth seems fine. The Purple punch loks like she will be big, just the way she os growing and throwing out new sides - lets see. Since the initial update they sped up a touch and the first one has now been topped. good day all - hope you are all well! On day 18 now and they have taken finally - the growth is visible daily - just the way I like it. Been having issues with heat still, forgot how reliant I have been on the AC, and without it keeping the temps stable over the 24hrs is autopilot. Anyway, I do think that slowed them down a touch at the start and the leaves have a bit of canoeing going on - otherwise they look OK to me. Today the GLO F2 got a haircut, a topping and good old spraying with Remo Velokelp, she is the most vigorous of the plants so far. The Purple Punch is only slightly behind and is doing well, but the Afghan x NL is still struggling a bit - she had a lack of calmag at the start, coupled with the heat has stressed her a touch...she will be right me thinks. And the runt is runting along nicely throwing out random leaves. Temps - 25 --> 30 RH - 45 --> 60% Res temp - 22 The hose pipe ban has caused me some issues with getting tap water to my grow space, therefore so far I have been using 100% RO water which I find a real pain in the ass to control, anything you add it goes haywire, I will sneak a watering can in there later and top up one of the RO bottles with 5ltrs of tap ready for the next res change. PH floating around 6.3 and 6.4, and the E.C is higher than I want right now at 1.4/1.6 but as mentioned without tap water I find it so hard to manage the res - if I just add Ro on top it does very little watering down according to the truncheon. They do not look over fed, if anything a few deficiencies are creeping in so I must get on top of the water situation over the next day or two to get it to where I really want at this stage. Also, I have changed my light again to the HiKrop 360 from Kroptek, it is an awesome light, I have used it for the past few years producing some lovely nuggage! It is 120w less than the other light - it is really ample for the space I was just being greedy, and with the cost of electricity I cannot use my AC unit so was the sensible thing to do in order to get teh temps under control

Hello All - they are now at 23 days from seed - overall not too bad, I think the heat we have been having on the Island has been a touch too high for a few weeks and I feel it has slowed them down a little. Over the week they had new drip rings installed in exchange for the blue drip stakes, this has no doubt given better coverage leaving the medium equally fertigated not just the area around teh stake. They have been getting tie down and fan leaves hav ebeen removed. The Afghan x NL is the problem child on this run, but she has perked up recently she is a bit behind her sister the Purple punch which is going well. E.C 1.6, made up Green Haze A&B, Calmag, and root tonic. PH, 6.2 Temps - 25-->27 RH - 50% Res temp - 20 I would say they are in their last week of veg by the look of them with a few pistils showing themselves now. Thats it for now - take care Z

The Two ladies from SSSC are flying along now - both branching out nicely and taking all the bending and defoliating I am doing in their stride. They re no getting very thirsty, I am adding 10 litres to the res every morning (there are four plants but these are the largest). Since changing the drippers over to rings the growth has been noticeable across the board. The Afghan X NL is nicely in to flowering and she looks like she will be nice and lanky with nice nodal spacing - the Purple Punch on the other hand is a touch behind, she has just about started pushing out her first few white hairs. As my res is about 60-->70 litres, last time I added the 10 litres top up I only added Bloom A&B and Calmag, that will continue until the res is essentially Bloom only. So we are in in to flower, normally when I grow I spent a lot of time away so I miss the boring bit but this time I had to endure it and it felt like ages. In reality the seeds were 'go' 41 days ago. They are drinking a good amount now about 2.5 litres a day (I add circa 10 litres to the res and it has four plants) I have stopped the grow nutes but did not change teh tank, I just added bloom to it to the wanted EC, and this week I started adding Monkey boost. The NLxAfghan is trooping along and is in teh process of forming some nice spears but the Purple Punch has barely turned. I will start adding some PK in a week or so otherwise th9ngs are going ok. The weather here has gone back to normal so the tent temps are very much under full control now with the two inkbirds and radiators and cold air being being pulled in I can keep it at 25 pretty much all day and night. I also changed the light back to the UK made PAR+ 480pro which gives out more heat and light than the other light so it will reduce the need for the radiator in teh lung room as well - double win. Hello all, today is day 48 for the ladies, and I must say the Purple Punch Auto is a beast of a plant, she came from nowhere and has taken over the front half of a 1m tent. The Afhgan x Northern Lights is stewing nicely and has an impressive amount of crystal all over her, and she has a few weeks left so time to fatten up. They are both going well, plug and play is you wish - currently drinking about 5 ltrs between them daily, and today was the first day of PK in the res. As you can see from the Pictures I have had a very heavy defoliation on all plants and the Punch has bounced back as if nothing had happened within a couple of days - again tomorrow to get them clean again and allow for more airflow. thats it for now - take care z

Hello All - today is day 55 for the two SSSC ladies - as a reminder I am running one Purple Punch Auto and the other is an Northern Lights x Afghan X Ruderalis. They are doing very well, the NLxAfhgan is coming to an end, a bit of a shame as the buds are a little slender but they are incredibly frosty, in fact this morning I could have swore I spotted some kind of white mold, but upon closer inspection it was crystal laden so densely it looked like fluff to the naked eye. On the other hand the PP has been slower, but really took off and stretched like no ones business and has just about stopped, she has as mentioned taken over the vast majority of the tent now. As such they are drinking about 2.5 litres a day of pure RO water with an EC of 1.8 - last week they started their PK and that will continue for a bit I think, also I have ow stopped adding calmag, i find they dont really need it when flowering and it takes up too much EC for my liking so lets see how they go - nothing else to report really, they are doing their thing and doing it well. Hello ALl - this week saw the Purple Punch stop stretching and start forming nice long colas, she has also taken over the vast majority of the tent now as well. I wanted to take down the NLxAfghan today as I thought she look ripe, but after checking she is still clear so a few days yet. All in all, they are flying along - the NLx has an immense sugar coating on every bud and leaf. Current EC is at 1.8 using pure RO water so it is a bit hot ut we are stil using the OK, when that stops it should nudge back down to 1.6ish. I hope I can take her down in the next few days to make a bit of space for the PP as she is big and will need space so she can have good air around her buds. Cheers for popping in Z

Grow this if you like easy grows with some strong strong buds at the end. I trimmed her down to teh bare bones and put in to brown paper bags next to a carbon filter - it stayed there for 9 days then went in to Grive bags. I sneaked a little out to try prior to sealing the bag and my god she is strong - I think she is likely to be the strongest flower I have grown, very pleased with this lady and will no doubt give her another run or two in the future

Just waiting for her to finish up, stil a few weeks to go I think - she is very large, and really building out her long buds nicely. I bea tthe crap out of her whilst away, I htink the res in teh tank got too hot for her and she got badly burnt, but she has bounced back and is trooping along

An absolute mammoth plant, sadly i had no space so she was crammed, but given her space she could easliy pull a pound of dry buds, another EPIC strain from the guys at Suport Sativa Seed Club.
