This clone is two weeks old from taking out of the small hydro-propagation unit. I took a three inch clone straight off the top of it, as you can see by fat main stem. Which left these three rather well positioned laterals for me to work with over the next 4-5 week period in which I intend to LST, prune out (and take a few cuttings in the process to keep her going) and train into a reasonable canopy before turning her. All my veg is kept on circadian rhythm until flowering. I trust you will enjoy following this Kiwi organic soil grow of a world class favourite and I hope I do the strain justice.
Sticky Buds!
She is settling in real nice now.I expect to see a bunch of new growth as she recovers from being topped and gets her roots deep into that 19L fabric pot of premade organic goodness! Stay tuned.
Isn't she nice? A real cute...although can tell she is sensitive and im very happy I chose to go lightly on Fert when i made the soil premix for planting her into. That was a good decision..I get the feeling had I gone for the amount I had used on the Gorilla Glue #4 of the same age (you can check that diary on my page to compare) this sweet strawberry wonder would be in a world of pain. So far I agree with the professionals...this plant has a medium grow difficulty.
A very cold and damp week saw what would have been great growth become cold damaged and stunted somewhat, as has happened in my whole indoor garden of late( next year I will have heating installed in the room) but it looks like everything is on the up and up now...so its the perfect time to tie it down lol. The usual steps you will see myself and others repeat over and over again...why? Because it works. Sticky Buds Everyone!
Another savage week of bitter temperatures even with ambient indoor heating. I think she is ok going into week 5 of vegetation. A slow but steady start...as you can see even the day time temperatures are not particularly friendly. But I shall persevere just as she is..by resisting the urge to fertilise and just letting her be her for a bit. Next week I will put her into flowering and give her her first real fertiliser. Stay tuned for that fun! Sticky buds everyone!
Cold snap two weeks ago REALLY stunted her and her sisters...she will never recover to be what she could have been I just hope to get some smoke from her.
