Another savage week of bitter temperatures even with ambient indoor heating. I think she is ok going into week 5 of vegetation. A slow but steady start...as you can see even the day time temperatures are not particularly friendly. But I shall persevere just as she is..by resisting the urge to fertilise and just letting her be her for a bit. Next week I will put her into flowering and give her her first real fertiliser. Stay tuned for that fun! Sticky buds everyone!

@TeamQuality420, Yep substrate temperature. I been growing 30 years and all it has taught me is how to be lazy. Next year I will use extra heating...but for now I'm going to just ride it out! I'm not going for the largest yields..just the sweetest medicating smoke! So I'm not thrashing my girls like thoroughbred horses in a race. Every season has it's ups and downs and as this is a completely new set up I'm not beating myself up. I know I need heating next year...as stated across my diaries...but for now I'm content to coax these babies through this tough patch.. last night was the first night us humans didn't need heating so the weather is improving. Meaning all cold related issues go out the door. One thing I keep the temp correct with year rould is my Hydro-prop cloning set up..that is at 22 degrees Celsius constantly..so I get the importance of heating...like I say I'm just lazy. New Strawberry Cough week added so you can see how she is doing now. Sticky Buds Growmie!

@@Alchemy_Aotearoa, I will do that for sure !!! I know that during the months of -40 weather that saved us , and after we cracked that wide open , that's when it was absolutely unbelievable. So if things go down hill , hit me up !!! Because I know you can have the canopy temp at well 20-35°c but if the substrate is below 18° she is gon' be a cranky bee 🐝!!! Great chatting with you growmie!!!

I think you should raise the light a little, or reduce the intensity of the light, just a little 7-8cm or 10% weaker. Everything else is nice, excellent job. Happy growing man.👌

@Ancient_Genetics, no mistakes...just good vibes! Again thanks for your support. I'm putting her into flowering this week so that's exciting!

@@Alchemy_Aotearoa, Then that's it, I thought... because it looks very similar when the light is too bright, or in major changes in temperature, my mistake.👍

@Ancient_Genetics, it's a non adjustable 100w PAR LED light. So only just putting out enough light to stimulate veg. What we are seeing on the leaves is serious cold damage from night time temps that went to 6 degree Celsius for a fortnight and me being lazy to not put any heating in. Good spotting on the leave damage but it's from the cold not the light. Cheers for stopping by!
