This week was a sad week for the ThreeLittleBirds growroom..
I realized that there was Gnat larvae in the soil by placing some yellow sticky boards and finding gnats.
I treated it with neem and let the soil dry for a few days then put some diatomaceous earth.
The plants roots over dried so we now have lots of yellowing taking place.
However the genetics pulled through so still some nice trichomes.
I think the high humidity during the loadshedding contributed the perfect environment for gnats to breed in. Need to rethink my loadshedding solution in future...
Will see this through for now...
Stay Blazing!
@3littlebirdscc
Does anyone know what random 2 hour power cuts would do to autoflowers? Sometimes 2/3 times a day. I am supplementing with battery powered lights but I sometimes forget...
They are on a 24 hour light cycle
I don't think this will affect your plants at all... if you're currently running 24/0, then if they go even to 16/8, you have no worries... even autoflowers can deal with that amount of light... and their resting time does NOT have to be altogether....
Good luck!
Soaked these peat pellets in BioBizz Root Juice and ExploGrow mix (1ml/l) before putting the seeds into them. Not sure how this will turn out but here goes!
@6ix6ix6ix, many people top autos, I think it's just important not to stress the plant too much in other ways. I saw many great results (this here included).
@6ix6ix6ix, thanks you mate! That's true. I guess there is diminished results but I've always been doing it with Fastbuds genetics and still getting great results. I like how it grows uniform when Topped and defoliated.
Hey bud, nice grow and diary, your plants look really good, I see you are also using greenhousefeeding bio π,are you from SA? Because Nature CO2 bag gave it away π
