At the beginning of Week 1 of veg I noticed seedlings were getting a little too leggy for my taste, at first naturally I would typically blame it on light distance but the beauty of having the PAR Meter is I know they were definitely getting enough light. So then I figured it must be too hot with not enough humidity that's causing these seedlings to stretch. So then I researched VPD, Temp & Humidity in relation to plant stage growth. After researching I figured an adjustable humidity dome would be the most optimal way to control these three variables. All I can say is wow seedlings are growing vigorously since I kept the VPD optimal with the other typical parameters of course. I never payed much attention or even knew about VPD until this grow, I used 3 different charts online to measure ideal VPD for plant stage growth along with Temp Humidity & just used the mean average to determine what would be optimal for these little girls. I'm only giving them purified tap water with a little yucca and EM-1 and plan on transplanting by the end of next week.
@Louder, I haven't once checked PH or ppms, it's a truly fascinating way to grow & Buildasoil really makes it plug and play in regards to setting up a living soil. The initial financial investment was high, but in turn I felt the labor (feedings, waterings) was much simpler than other methods I've used in the past. I appreciate you taking the time and reading my posts.
@Dilphoducus, reading through your posts, it's obvious you've done your research. Is it as much work as it seems? Do you even have to worry about ppms/EC etc?
Nicely done! Those buds look great. I just smoked some Member Berry for the first time this weekend. It was some dispo stuff but it was still decent. I'm gonna have to add this strain to my wish list. It would be fun to try homegrown member berry. Cheers and Happy growing!
@@Permafry, it's a fantastic strain that responds well to training and apparently the source of some of Ethos newer creations (Pink grapefruit/PlanetoftheGrapes)
I've grown this twice now. Once outdoors and once indoors. Don't be scared when she starts to turn purple and shed leaves in flower. She pumps tasty nuggies.
@Dilphoducus, if you check out my current blueberry diary the purple plant beside it is memberberry. Also, throughout my grandpas stash diary you can see her in the back.
Excellent job on this grow, it truly was a pleasure browsing through your weeks and seeing the progression. Nice clean set up as well very professional looking. It looks like some fire as well! Remember sharing is caring๐ and puff puff pass๐. I look forward to seeing your next diary๐ช
