Very interesting week , Memberberry seedlings started to show first signs of rootbounding (drooped leaves, small spotting) so I finally got to transplant my 2 keepers into the City Pickers 24x20 SIP. Soil prep was fun but exhausting! The hydrophobicity of the soil was exacerbated by this heat wave (NorCal) so getting the soil adequately saturated took longer than expected , especially the initial wicking corners of the City Pickers SIP , After Top dressing with a bunch of organic goodies I then fan sprayed the top layer of the soil with about 5% of it's volume in my microbial water solution. After day 2 of our heat wave, and RH in the low 50s I decided to lightly mulch with hay and then implement the black mulch cover that comes stock with the City Pickers & add an evaporative humidifier inside the tent to maintain homeostasis. Today day 21 since sowing, approx 2 days after transplant everything seems to be going somewhat fine in terms of growth despite suboptimal conditions (heatwave). Upper fan leaves getting dark green but a few small twisted fan leaves due to the oscillating fan having to work harder with the heat & small water droplet burns on lower fan leaves that were sprayed accidentally when I moistened the mulch layer. Big changes coming in the next week!
@Louder, I haven't once checked PH or ppms, it's a truly fascinating way to grow & Buildasoil really makes it plug and play in regards to setting up a living soil. The initial financial investment was high, but in turn I felt the labor (feedings, waterings) was much simpler than other methods I've used in the past. I appreciate you taking the time and reading my posts.
@Dilphoducus, reading through your posts, it's obvious you've done your research. Is it as much work as it seems? Do you even have to worry about ppms/EC etc?
Nicely done! Those buds look great. I just smoked some Member Berry for the first time this weekend. It was some dispo stuff but it was still decent. I'm gonna have to add this strain to my wish list. It would be fun to try homegrown member berry. Cheers and Happy growing!
@@Permafry, it's a fantastic strain that responds well to training and apparently the source of some of Ethos newer creations (Pink grapefruit/PlanetoftheGrapes)
I've grown this twice now. Once outdoors and once indoors. Don't be scared when she starts to turn purple and shed leaves in flower. She pumps tasty nuggies.
@Dilphoducus, if you check out my current blueberry diary the purple plant beside it is memberberry. Also, throughout my grandpas stash diary you can see her in the back.
Excellent job on this grow, it truly was a pleasure browsing through your weeks and seeing the progression. Nice clean set up as well very professional looking. It looks like some fire as well! Remember sharing is caring😁 and puff puff pass😂. I look forward to seeing your next diary💪
