DonCostro I'm growing a strain from Fast Buds for the first time, very interested to see the results.
Also using new soil, which is Canna terra proffesional plus.
Seed's been soaking in water for 24h and then put into soil. The plant emerged from the ground after 2 more days, as expected. Baby looking good and healthy.

DonCostro Not a great start.
Baby's growing fast, but there's brown spots on leaves, not sure what's going on.
High DonCostro,
The roots do not get enough oxygen. You need to let the soil dry out before watering again. Your pH is perfect and the soil contains more then enough nutrients for this stage!
So let the top 5cm from your soil dry out before you give water again. And try to water around 10cm away from your plant so that the roots have to search for the water and also have acces to oxygen!

DonCostro It's not the prettiest flower, but at least it's healthy, actually it grows faster than expected and could be topped above 3rd node on 13th day of grow.
I have been told the leaves grow crooked like this because overwatering, for now it seems new leaves aren't affected as much.
We'll see what future has in store for this girl.

DonCostro She's grew a lot this week and there's already signs of pre-flowering.
Some of the leaves still grow weird, I'm thinking it might actually be genetics, but who knows.
Also older leaves look very dark, might be too much N in the soil.

DonCostro Lots of new growth this week and she's beginning flowering.

DonCostro This girl has some issues since I started growing her, had to take of bunch of burnt leaves, but I think whatever was causing this pretty much stopped progressing by the end of week.
Beside that I noticed smaller side branches are much more pale compared to main colas.
Hoping to get some more stretch next week.

DonCostro Things not looking the best. Looks like I was starving this lady, I've increased frequency of feeding and will see what happens in few days, hopefully I can still salvage some decent smoke out of this.
DonCostro Another week and still ain't swelling, which makes me start to worry.
She has few more weeks so there's still some hope though, but I ain't expecting plentiful harvest.
There was some issues growing it due to my mistake, I did not get high yields, but the buds themselves are amazing - dense, aromatic and very potent.

DonCostro The plant was harvested by the end of 13th week of growth, total 90 days from seed to harvest.
As expected the yield wasn't that great, it was less than half of what I usually get, but the buds themselves look and smell amazing.
Made some dumb rookie mistakes in the early growth and flowering, but at least it's something to learn from.
I had this overwatering my two current grows, and then got worse for the bottom leaves only into the next week. I fixed this watering around the outside only until runoff and pruned the yellowed leaves. Both plants recovered. The answers from our more experienced peers @GrowingGranny@DutchDoobie@m0use below definitely fit the same trend also. In addition to @m0use 's comment about providing oxygen to the roots, air pots are a great way to go for this and I have been told that they can increase your yield. So I think between us, you have a solid answer. Good luck with your grow.
@VertiGrow, Glad to be of help! air pots are great. the brand named ones. the fabric ones are called smart pots and I have also used them. both are good options. smart pots little less messy but air pots look cooler lol. also what medium you use will help that out as well. I use a mix of soil coir and a few other things. it does well in these style of pots.
