Salute everyone! We have a liftoff! Since this is my first grow i spent the last month at least in research, tents, lights, strains, nutrition (omg), growing medium, watering, temp, humidity and so on! Total overload. When i got my tent and seeds, it was time to visit my local grow shop, and the nicest of people who happens to be the owner, reassured me that im going to be fine. And thats my plan. Read some diaries here and I’m really looking forward to engage with the community! Today is 01/09 - the day it begins. Seeds are in the soil. 01/09 - morning Implanted the seeds at night and turned the light at 20% power about 50cm away from the surface and turned the vent to around 25% The himidity dropped to 55%. so I’ve decided to turn off the vent for now. Now the humidity is around 65% which i would like to keep thru seedling/veg stage 03/09 - midnight Full 48 hours has passed since the seeds were planted. No signs of life so far. 03/09 - 70 hours after planting the germinated seeds in the soil 2/3 have srouted. The third one didn’t have a root when planted, but was cracked open, so i guess she’s lagging a little. Tomorrow morning will switch the lights to 18/6. 25% of power. 04/09 - 84 hours after planting All three girls are up. Switching light to 18/6 (25% power) Installed a go pro to shoot a time lapse. 05/09 - morning Seems that nothing changed overnight. Compared my plants with a day by day progress reference i found on the web. So i decided to help the plants and remove the shell of the seed. Seems went well. Only plant 1 managed to remove only one half, second half is glued. 05/09 - afternoon After removing the shells i noticed that the cotyledons are glued together by the residue on the seed. Performed a microsurgery (neurosurgeon wanabe) Attached. Finally the plants are free and exposed to the light

07/09 - 3 days after breaking ground On the second day had to remove the residue of the seed that was gluing the leaves together. Video attached Turned the light to 50% and around 50cm from the plants. All systems - check

Learned a couple of leasons this week. Watering should be done gently! Seems that the soil shifted a little and one of the plants fell horizontally. Raised it with a toothpick pressed the soil a bit to support the stem, now as good as new. Second, it seems that i overwatered the girls as after the watering the leaves bowed down, fixed it with intense ventilation, in a couple of hours went back to normal. Now will ration the watering. Overall going good and seeing rapid growth in the last couple of days. Light is at 75% 18.09 Coming along fine, I guess. Watering once in 3 days Fighting high temps during the day, prolly will get a fan to scoop some air from the outside.

Today is only 19 days since the girls broke ground, but i already see some white hairs and can feel the smell. all three plants have 3 nods and 4th is on the way. Are the white hairs a sign that the plant is alrwady switching to flowering? Im afraid its too early. Help

thanks everyone for your answers! ive consulted consulted some growers in irl, they told me this is her showing off the gender basically. inhave a week at least till she flips to flower. about the “overfed” comment. i feed zero additional nitrogen. and growing in a premix soil, wont argue about signes, but they seem like happy plants to me. every day i see the next level develop. i guess im around 5-7 days till LST. anyway, again thank you all for your comments. have a good grow y’all

This is the moment all LST fans around the world been waiting for… lol so week 3 is behind, seems I have some mess-ups with the watering, because I’m really confused about the amount and frequency of watering. the info i get from the internet is contradictory “dont overwater” vs “pour till it runs out”. Yesterday (day21) finally bought a fan to make them dance a bit, and overnight I noticed a visible reduction in stem movement, meaning they reacted with stronger rooting (I want to beleive 🤓). and today 25.09 (day22) I’ve performed LST. first thoughts were “not as easy as it seemed on youtube” but then got the hang of it. the biggest challenge is the soft pot having so much give and its hard to fix the wire in place. btw, used 2,5mm electrical wire, because couldn't find a thick gardening wire. No issues in the process. setting up a timelapse to see how the lst works out and a little “side project”. Always wanted to buy a plant of rosmary and grow it. I found an old aluminum milk(?) pot in the garbage the other day, so decided to make a pot out of it. turned out pretty nice, I think

Greeting of the day! First of all, thanks to everybody who is engaging and interacting with my diary and myself. I truly enjoy and appreciate you all! The time laps of the first LST is relevant to week 4, but decided to put it here as well for the contrast. For the last week, i have increased watering volumes and put them on regular schedule, and i see pretty massive grow. Jumped from 15 to 35cm in height and thats after the first LST. I am not feeding the girls anything but water with regulated PH. Seems that the soil is rich enough to keep them fed. Today (day 33), ive decided to perform another LST, more radical than the first one. The main stems started to shoot up and it seems that the rest of the body is falling behind in growth, so i bended and twisted around the main columns of 2/3 girls. Is seems that they have reacted extremely positively. I see immediate development of secondary columns (check out the photo right after lst and in 4 hours) Also, I’ve defoliated, well… removed one leaf that I was not able to tuck anywhere. P.S. Oh! got the girls a new fan, specially designed for grow tents. They are happy and so am I. The smell is so nice, if i leave the tent open it fills the room almost immediately. Thanks for stopping by and reading, have a great day and good luck! Will drop updates on the go.

Hey hi! Thanks for visiting my diary! This week was all about growing! Every morning i see the girls taller and stronger. Watering every 2-3 days giving around 2.5 liter per pot. The runoff of the previous watering showed PH 5.7 which, I think, is a bit low, so last watering i made the water 6.8. Before each watering i’m adjusting the existing ties and applying new ones to keep as many bud sites lightened as possible. Also removing leaves that cast shadow on the buds below. The smell is sweet and a bit earthy and starting to get pretty intense. If the tent is open for an hour i feel the smell in every room of the house. Feel free to throw in any advises you may think are relevant, most of what I’m doing is guess work, because I have never raised a plant in my life before. Have a good week ahead! Cheers!

Namaste All week was in questions am i doing everything right. With the help of more experienced growers (thanks AsNoriu), I understood that my water-and-forget soil is a bit overpacked for my small autoflowers and light capabilities. Next grow will try to make a mix myself with so e guidlines i wrote to myself. Gave up the idea of switching to coco, I got the impression that is it even harder than DWC, with much more trouble. Will stick to soil with my next grow, but will make it lighter and will train in feeding in baby steps. -my last watering was done today (day 49) with around 3,5 liter per plant over a bucket to wash away any accumulated salts and toxins in soil. Gave half of the recommended dose of PK by mills to encourage the bud formation. Also started adding atazyme which is supposed to cleanse the roots and enhance absorption of elements. Defoliated all “first floor” and removed small flowers that are deep in the bushes. + stretched the colas some more for beter ventilation and light penetration. +got another fan inside to create even more airflow since the humidity is getting intense. +got myself a carson hand “microscope” to check out the trichs, cant get the hang of it yet. Depth of focus is extremely shallow. Probably would have to cut off small leaves and put them on the table to observe in detail. TGIF Peace out

Halo shalom buenas dias! All week been strugling witg the nitrogen overload that my soil in giving my poor plants. Tried washing out, but no significant results. However, adding PK (half of the recommended dose) gives really positive results, i see the buds develop more, however the leaves are also there. I’m really confused by the way the three plants are completely different on rip ess stage, bud formation and growth overall. They get absolutely same treatment and sit in the same tent. My feeling is that i have around a week with 2/3 plants and around two weeks with the “flagship” Today is 56 days since germination. Any suggestions how to dry plants during an active grow? Will the light somehow interfere?

Hello! How’s it growing, duuuude? (Very smart joke going-growing haha). So the day has finally come. Week 9 sharp. day 63 - cut down two out of 3 girls. The trichs are good, the plants themselves are funny of course because of the nitrogen diet, the leaves are not fading, crunchy as pringles. Girl 1 has pretty dense buds and heavy, girl 2 is more airy and light but still enough for me ;) Girl 3 asked for some time to get herself ready and I don’t mind. However she is foxtailing As Fuuuuu. Could this be because of N overfeeding in flower? Cuz the temperatures are not THAT high. Anyway, she is welcome as she is. Already getting ready for round two. The soil ill go with will be biobizz light mix. And will be putting big bucks in the feeding. Probably will get the whole range of biobizz. Have purchased beautiful seeds from RQS This time i want to grow 2 plants instead of three to give them more air and light. I chose cookies to be one of the girls, but still not sure between Purple Punch and Mimosa. Maybe you have something to say? Collected all the leaves and waiting for the trim of ms. “Late to the party” and will be making canna butter and hope to bake some brownies for my wife to enjoy because she cant smoke in any form. Hellava hobby we got guys and girls. Love every minute of it! Will add harvest report when i cut down the third plant and dry out to see final weight. Enjoy your growing and thanks for stopping by!

Namaste This week was awesome. Finally dried and jarred the harvest from the two smaller girls. 23 grams in total. Nothing to brag about but it is all mine. And booooy she’s kicking. Very pleasant smoke and 2-3 hours of intense high. Cooking last night was adventurous haha! The remaining lady has swollen big time, the buds are heavy and dense despite of some foxtail. I give it around a week to be ready. Have a happy grow!
