Started germination in Root Riot cubes on 31st August. Started with 6 seeds and by yesterday (4th September) they were all but one ready to plant. It is now nearly 24 hours since I planted them in organic light potting soil. I am using Voodoo Juice for this grow at a ratio of 2ml to 1 litre. I an using 2 light in a 120cm x 120cm grow tent. 2 x CR600s. One is 1000w (white one) and the black one is 600w.
Week 1 has gone really well. Currently no issues. Plants are about 4 to 5cm. Have about 3 sets of leaves on them. Temperature is at about 23C. PH is at 6.8. Still watering very sparingly. Using 2ml of voodoo juice per litre.
Been a really good week. The plants have grown quite a bit in the last 7 days. Temperature is around 81f in the tent. I'm considering swapping them around as the ones under the stronger light are a little bigger.
Great week overall. Plants have doubled in size. I'm on day 24 so nearly half way. I have read this strain being an auto will be ready to harvest at day 56 to 63 (8-9 weeks). I have started with some gentle LST using wire and string. My Garden Wire comes tomorrow. I have been forced to start doing my cuttings. I wasn't as gentle as I should have been. I cut off the branch cleanly when it broke. The cutting is in the mini greenhouse with a great little LED light above it. Yesterday it was wilting inside the grow cube and today its stood up. Lots of changes I'm expecting this week! Massive growth would be awesome. Check back next week and see the CHANGE.
What are my chances of a cutting that was only meant to be stretched with LST, string surviving without any root products. Its placed directly into a grow cube, with water and then the mini greenhouse. I have a perfect LED grow light gently willing it on. WILL IT SURVIVE???
i had rooted with 90% chance straight to soil many times
did with rubbing into cinnamon, same thing
tried scraping stems and keeping in water till small rooting and then planting , does same
your stem is very fat, if you give time and love - 99% of it will make it, i would take off biggest leaf and next two biggest would shorten the length of all fingers. if you watched any cloning video you will understand, that's the only thing i would adjust.
i put broken branch next to my worst plant ever and it still made, without any humidity dome, later picture of that clone was used in RQS article as leading picture, weed is very resilient !!!!!

It's been a big growth spurt in the last 2 weeks. Check out my VIDEO! The lights have been moved up so they are about 12 inch from the grow. The lower wattage light has not performed aswell as the cr600 1000w. Its big brother has made much thicker, stronger and taller plants. The LST has worked miracles with this plant. So has the Voodoo juice. Will use again!
No. For pre fkower. You are in a stage of growth. Therefore, no light on bud sites are required. But what is. Is all those leafs. If you do defol before or during pre flower you'll be left with a lot of airy larfy bud.
After pre flower is over then you can choice remove leafs, but again with autos try leaf tuck where you can.
But I had to defol cin Jack auto had so much growth I had to hard defol. But I waited until pre flower was over and bud sites were fully developed then you can open it up (some, not a lot now) you'll find rotating your plant will put a lot of sites into the light or pulling an LST tie lightly and it'll allow u to leaf tuck and so on..
Day 45. Plants have grown huge in last week. Tallest one about 65cm. At its closest point the light is 6 inch. The bud sites furthest away are about 18 inch. Trying g to even out the canopy with some success. Just using the string method of LST and also moving the pot around to get an even amount of strong light.
Has been a huge week for growth. Had a few signs of nitrogen deficiency so added a bit more voodoo juice and that should control the situation. Ordered a spider farm 4inch fan and carbon filter today with temp and humidity control. Need to get this humidity in order as creeping to 80%! I reckon we have 2 to 3 weeks before harvest. Will keep feeding for 2 weeks then start to flush.
Hi guys, I have ordered an inline fan and carbon filter with temp and humidity controller by spiderfarm. Will I still need the normal fans or does this replace the need for them? Thanks guys
Hey Ghost, nice grow you got going on there, congrats.
Personally wouldn't bother with a carbon filter unless you are worried about legality, smell is generally contained if you are venting outside.
Big side note though if you do use a carbon filter you should at least double the CFM rating of the exhaust fan.
Exhaust - up high (Humidity/Heat rises)
Buy a 15w inline fan and have it suck in the air outside the tent about 1inch from the floor, c02 is very heavy compared to o2 and will gather at the lowest point in the house.
You will certainly still need to keep some air circulation within the tent and prevent dead spots ,a small upward-facing fan spreading around the co2 as it comes in.
Oxygen makes up 21% of the air we breathe
Carbon Dioxide makes up 0.04% of the air plant's breathe
Can never have enough circulation, you want the entire tent just happily "breathing"

Had a pretty good weer. I have the new carbon fil by Spider farmer. Love it has a temp and hum control built in so i can really leave it undisturbed now. This week has been a rescue week. I initially thought one of my plants had a lack of nitrogen then after further investigation i realised it was too much nitrogen. I have done some heavy defol on the leaves beond rescue. Only 2 of the 5 plants are affected by this. The Buds are growing nicely. The bud hairs are 90% white at this stage. I think the plants have another 2 weeks before harvest. Currently on day 65. Decided im going to do a feminized seed next time instead of an auto. Invested in a microscope this week to see the colour of the trichomes. Will help when determining when to harvest. Accepting guesses in the comments on the size of yield for the 5 plants. Im going with a dried weight of 2 oz per plant. Giving me 10 in total. What do you guys think?
Been a good week for bud development. I am now sure that I have 2 varieties a gorilla skittlez and a green crack. Seedsman have sent me a buy 3 get 3 free but given different seeds for the 3 for free. Not bothered the colours are amazing purple. I have started the flush last week. One plant is getting cropped at weekend. The other 4, 2 are sooner than the other 2. Should get a good crop in the end.
Still getting bigger the Buds. Loads of white pistils left. I have fed them nutrients again. Voodoo juice and they have lapped it up. Getting some huge fist size Buds. Aiming to harvest on 10th December. Will start flush in couple of days.
Was very Impressed with final yield. The cr600 600w made my plants grow a little to wirey but when I relaced it with the cr1200 it was great. The Voodoo juive was awesome too. Only problem on whole grow was me feeding 1 plant too much and getting nitrogen burn on 1 plant. Very happy with 12oz from 5 plants.
