TasteBudz have out grown Ethos, so far; guess we'll see. Everything is the same besides genetics; anyway. All seedlings are getting 10-20 ml of water daily. Will introduce a little fan for them this week. All pics are from the last day of week one, after germination. Will be moving into 5 gallon fabric pots at in 14 days from now.

So, we tied down the mains mid week; still just water at PH close to 6.2 and I think they look great so far even though they seem slightly stunted or streesed from the transplant because they also showed signs of flower this week; won't be doing that again regardless. Each watering is apporx 750 ml per plant. Prior to last water we scratched in 5 tablespoons of 2-8-4; depending on how they look after 3 will top dress 1 last time, regardless. Watering with recharge this week coming and will be upping water I take buy 30% this week Ethos appears to stacking tighter than the Taste budz who seem to be longer and stretching a little more, equal potential bud sites on both breeder... A friend of mine is running Mephisto and his plants automatically bushed up with dozens coming up on with tops...he swears he did nothing...genetics I guess

Recharge - Real Growers
Recharge 1.302 mll
***All pics from today October 14th*** Late into this week we applied some LST to the side branches that were coming up in order to guide them into their desired positions. We also selectively tucked leaves along the main stock even though we defoliated last week. Other than that it has just been watering at around 6.1-6.4 splitting 1 cup shy of a gallon between 6 plants all of similar maturity; Its seems so far Kokobop has done all the work, even though we did feed with 2-8-4 last week as well as a recharge watering this week, so we'll see. My growshop said that Kokobop should be all we need start to finish, but we'll never know because somebody added Gaia Green...Anyway, sticking to water only for 2 more weeks before final top dress; we may water in some Great White mid week. 1 ethos and 1 Tastebudz began to flower pretty hard this week but the Tastebudz started packing it on immediately...the other 2 are shorter but are responding very well to training... Also this week we had to raise my lamps due to DLI and Par being so high in the middle while trying to reach the outter edges within our new 4x4. Raising the ligh gave us more even PAR and DLI across the flowering sites. This set the maps across the tent for all these plants bewteen 7-900 PAR and 48-65 DLI @ 18 hours on... How does lamp height affect the plant in regards to PAR? If the desired PAR is met will the plant still stretch past that? We ask because last time we used our Mars Hydro FC8000 and got 9 Os off 3 Fast Budz Fast Berry. We could set them anywhere in that lights path and they were getting 7~1000 all the way across at 65% 12 inches above...lower branches were still getting 5-800...In this instance we are using an Honorsen 4000w and 2000w in the 4x4 and its only spread as well if it's raised and there are still hot spots. Well that's all I have this week...

Bush Doctor Cal-Mag - Fox Farm
Bush Doctor Cal-Mag 2 mll
Well Monday morning we encountered our first problem; a storm took the electric out for 4 hours and humidity went to 100% while we waited... During this time something came across me and I pulled my timer out of the equation and its running 24 hours right now...I guess we'll see. Ethos PC 1 is stretching still...Idk Ethos PC 2 is squatty and seems to be a little behind the first one Tastebudz 1 stretching hard and the whole heads forming in the original Cola already Tastebudz 2 squats like the other Ethos...like I said, we'll see... Not a lot to talk about this week; continued PhD water and lst...thats it.. Question if anyone is paying attention: The last pic is an issue starting on 1 leaf on 1 plant; should I introduce Epsom salt this week? I'm using dechlorinated tap water with a ppm of 181-224 Maybe... 10/23/22 04:00am Noticed an issue and posted in the question section. Followed through with watering to run off PPM 424 EC 844 and PH was 7.1 Last few pics show issue; couldn't update question. Next watering added 2mls of Bush Dr. Cal Mag... Will update with next week's entry...

Grow Questions

NovaHovastarted grow question 2 years ago
That escalated quickly, within 24 hours we have lots of yellowing in lower center leaves on 1 Tastebudz and 1 Ethos: Adding cal mag to next watering. Would cal mag be better or Epsom salt at this point? Would a bloom tea help?
Solved
Leaves. Color - Yellow
Setup. Strain - Autoflowering

My guess. First they have too much N, could do trick. Second you underwater them, all photos look like this. This could lead to proper salts build up ( hard to disolve ). Third they look either hungry, either having root issue, both look very not possible tho ... Forth wrong ph , sometimes even meter lies, are pots really light, or just top soil dries out ? That will give you answer. Either lockout from wrong ph or N toxicity. If they were heavy feeders and got used to, could ge hunger, but i give that 1%. Run off ppm and ph would tell a lot in such case, just take samples right.

Beastie Bloomz - Fox Farm
Beastie Bloomz 0.326 mll
More LST this week and everything is rolling smooth since the intro of cal mag...yellowing stopped and buds started getting frosty... Watered in Beastie Blooms on 10/27 1/4 TSP Also water upped as suggested to every other day with 3/4 to 1 gallon slowly... Tomorrow we will top dress with 2-8-4 also watering in Great White mid week!!! Switched the light schedule 2 weeks ago to 24 hours and will keep that schedule until the last few weeks; at that point I plan to switch back to 18/6 as to my understanding more Trichs are produced within darkness... Is this true or should I just finish out on 24 hours? Idk what to believe from YouTube anymore... Anyway, Thanks for the help this past week and hopefully it's smooth sailing from here...

The week went well with the grow, but I took on home care of my father recently and it has taken a toll on the amount of time I can research as we as just work in my garden. I'll be looking into an auto pot system for my next run to ease some work load. Anyway, we Top Dressed with 2-8-4 on 11/2; watering .5 Gallon every 24 hours now. Also, will add in cha ching 1 time this week. Water 6.0-6.2 bought spring water hoping to negate the need of Cal Mag for the final few weeks... Trichs are forming nicely; Tastebudz has put on more weight and thrown thicker more dense buds than Ethos so far for this grow; though Ethos is frosting up slightly more. Judging by other grow diaries we are closing out my final few weeks. I'll closely keep an eye on development of the trichs and will only be giving PhD water after I give 1 dose of cha ching this week. Oh yea, 1 of these plants is giving off a citrus smell like I've never smelled. Each ethos smalls spicy/ earthy with a slight hint of garlic...1 bubble runtz smells like an open orange and the other smells like Bubble Tape...🤣🤷‍♂️🏻 Thanks for looking...

Cha Ching - Fox Farm

Busy week, sadly a lot of time was neglected in the garden caring for my father (not a complaint). But we are trudging along. Keeping a close eye on trichs and actually today 11/12 we have one of the USB scopes coming from Amazon. So we'll update this post with Trich pics later today. Little late for LST, but we moved a few branches to better spots and they seem to be responding well. Watered daily this week nearly 1/2 gallon a day and fed cha-ching mid week. This seemed to "over feed", but oh well. Also we ran out PH down and used organic apple cider vinegar to lower water PH; this seems to work fairly well and we may continue this practice through other grows. Again, apologies on the unthoroughness (not a word)...but I'm super pressed for time these days... Edit*** Gave .25 TSP per gallon of cha ching, its coming out differently when we save my grow dairy, but that's it...

Will update grow journal tomorrow on the other 3 Nov.17th Harvest Ethos PC1 Nov.18th Harvest Ethos PC2 Nov.18th Harvest Tastebudz BR1 Nov. 25th Harvest Tastebudz BR2 Nov. 26th Harvest Tastebudz BR (bonus plant and by far the most dense. . There are still 2 TB BR in rotation. 1 was a bonus I never added to the grow daries...ph water for them all the way through... The last few picture are of these 2. Will update Harvest info in 10-14 days for these 3. Right now, the smell is something serious and I cannot wait to get this all in grove bags. Edit: 11/26 Tastebudz out performed Ethos all the way through with way more dense buds and yeild...but consistency of Ethos was 2 for 2 on phenos...Tastebudz Bubble Runtz showing 3 very different phenos... Ethos: spicy, rich, beaster smelling as stated both the same Tastebudz: 1 smells like an open orange 1 smells like Big Chew bubble gum and 1 smells like a bag of Skittles I'm running 4 more Bubble Runtz right now in 1 gallon pots and they all appear to be the same pheno type through week 3 in flower...they are under 12/12 and look awesome!!! Added more Trich pics...and will add a hanging video when I have better signal... plants are in a closet with air filtering fan blowing against a wall...it stays 65- 69° and 45-55 rh...I may be buying a 2x4 tent just for drying...

Ethos Pluto Cut came out sweet smelling and dense; I previously thought that Tastebudz may have out grown Ethos, but it appears I may be wrong 113 total grams dry weight. I believe the transplant stunted my girls and that's why the yields are not so large as I have 2 Jack Herer going now that are easily 3x the size of all of these in this run. I'll be updating Tastebudz Harvest in a few days. Thanks for looking; the fun starts again soon enough.

Weight wise Tastebudz Bubble Runtz out produced Ethos by 16 grams with 129 > 113. However, after drying Ethos has become more dense and less sponge like than Tastebudz
