Midnight Autoflower

Granddaddy_Terp I’m super impressed with her growth rate so far. I’ve grown quite a few different autos and this one is definitely one of the bigger ones after 1 week.

Granddaddy_Terp Week two was a strong one. Hopefully week three goes just as smoothly.

Granddaddy_Terp She’s coming along wonderfully. I started some minor LST and leaf tucking today. Tune in next week to see how she responded!

Granddaddy_Terp This one is super bushy! I’ve been performing lots of leaf tucking in order to better expose all of her bud sites to the light. It’s difficult with such a thick, dense canopy but it will become easier once she starts to stretch a little. As of four weeks she has not begun flowering. I am, however, beginning to see some preflowers. I imagine I’ll start to see actual flowers sometimes in the next week or so. Stay tuned!

Granddaddy_Terp This is one of the longest vegging autos I’ve ever grown. It’s actually kind of a nice change of pace as sometimes I wish autos would veg a little longer. She started going into flower around day 36 and I can already see the beautiful purple colors coming in. The pictures I’ve seen of this particular cultivar have looked absolutely gorgeous so naturally I’m pretty excited to see how she turns out!

Granddaddy_Terp This was a great week. She stretched quite a bit and her structure has really formed just how I wanted it to. She has about a dozen main colas that will get plenty of light. Her incoming buds are already turning the most beautiful shade of purple. It has me really excited for what’s to come! So far she is extremely healthy. I introduced bloom nutes about a week and a half ago and plan on starting boost nutrients this week. Fingers crossed this next week goes as well as the last one!

Granddaddy_Terp Midnight is a seriously beautiful cultivar and unlike many other purple strains I’ve seen, grown and smoked, this one’s terps are actually rather impressive. Her aroma is a pungent mix of berries, citrus and gas. I love it. She certainly isn’t the fastest auto. We’re at day 77 since sprout and it’s clear she still needs another 2-2.5 weeks. I expect her to be ready for harvest somewhere in the 90-95 day range.

Granddaddy_Terp She’s just about done! Her buds fattened up a lot over her last two weeks but they seem like they’ve gotten as chunky as they’re going to get. She has a wonderful berry diesel smell. I’m going to give her a few more days and then chop her down. Stay tuned for the harvest and smoke report!
