Trying again, now with a photoperiodic strain from 00 seeds: Sweet Critical CBD. I hope I can grow a nice plant this time, everything started in a nice an smooth way, so I hope to keep it like that. Seed germinated in 48 hours more or less, and I planted it directly in a gallon fabric pot.

Started without problems, the plant is growing pretty fast and looks healthy. I keep the plant far from the light because I don't want to burn it.

I noticed that the plant had some trips on the leaves, for sure the problem started before I placed the pot in the cabinet. Had to spray the plant with some potassic soap. I noticed that after that some leaves suffered some minor burns on the tips. Started to train in day 4 bending on a side.

Started with a little bit of LST but I think I will top the plant when I'm going to be able to. The plant is growing pretty fast, I think finally I got it. She even started to smell a little, I'm impressed so far with this strain. I had some problems, i think of underfeeding and because the humidity increased at half of the week maybe of overwatering too. Changing the feed schedule.

I noticed that the lower 2 leaves are yellowing and I think that are a little crispy. I topped the plant at the beginning of the week ago and I removed the first pair of leaves three days later ( yesterday). Do you think is this a problem? What can I do? Thank you. Peace

Hey fam in my opinion the bottom leaves are yellowing due to the top sucking up all the nutrients from those leaves so I would start nutrients or Up them if you already started them. Hope this helps good luck

Plant is growing pretty good now, she totally recovered from the topping, top two branches are starting to grow faster, already with a pair of little leaves each and other pair starting to grow. Other pair of branches is growing fast, hope I can train the plant to use them as principal branches so I will obtain already 4 colas without further toppings.

Last week I topped this little baby, the plant now is growing ok. I noticed that not only the two top side branches are growing a lot, but that the ones on the node under it too. I would like to make the 4 grow and like that I don't have to top more, is it ok? How can I do it?

Hello, after some weeks they are going to grow LIKE CRAZY! so you havent seen nothing yet,no worries is going to grow perfectly, you can top another one and another one untill you are satisfying BUT if the plants can make it through too,i think this one time topping is enough.Be carefull with the grow nute i think you have Nitrogen toxicity and you need to chill out the nutrients a little bit Hope i help 😀

This week everything was going great. The problem, that was causing the yellowing of the lower leaves, was that my little girl was underwatered. Now she is green, growing up fast and growing branches. I'm using LST to spread the topping branches, hope the lower branches are getting enough air and light to grow fast too!

Top branches are already 8cm long and the two under them are 5cm long. Did some defoliation and cutted lower little branches to give the upper canopy more energy on day 44.

I did defoliate on day 44, want to switch to flowering on day 49,is it too soon? Do you think is better to wait one week more and start 12/12 on day 56? I'm growing in a little DIY cabinet so I don't want to run out of space with flower stretching. How do you see my little girl?

Figure it will at least double in size.. potentially more. because this is an area, must consider l x w dimensions. so... if it is roughly 70% of intended length and width, it should double to "100%" by end of stretch or larger (70%x.70%=.49% of future area covered) keep those limbs as horizontal as posibble for even growth.. if oyu want some side branching, temporarily restrain apical tip down below that height... tallest nodes take the most resources. Sometimes you gotta force those future vertical branches to pop out a bit... then keep them level after that and all is right as rain. Even after flip you'll get minimum of 3 weeks of vigorous vegetative growth (leaves + elongation of stems). Most will go longer than that unless it's a fast blooming plant. Some don't fully stup until 6weeks after flip, but will slow down before that point.

Performed a last pruning, I cutted some of the branches in top to leave just two more branches there, so in total I hope to have 6 big colas. I switched light to 12/12.

First day of the week and I could confirm that she is starting to flower. I can see now clearly calixes and pistils. Switched her feeding schedule to early blooming. Defoliated a little more in day 58, I noticed that the lower leaves were sucking a lot of energy to find light, so I preferred to cut them.

I heard about defoliation every 3 days during the first 3 weeks of flowering. My sweet critical CBD is almost ending her first week, I already defoliate once, but I think I have to work on it more to let branches grow. What do you think about it? Thank you all!

I'll echo almost everyone here... ONLY defoliate for a reason - not just because you "heard about..." I've had some grows where I haven't trimmed off even one leaf... and other grows where I've had to do a massive job of it... And I've seen at least one grower defoliate their plant to death - literally - and it had been a magnificent plant that unfortunately had to be pitched. This is a really good article on when, how and WHY you should defoliate... https://www.growweedeasy.com/nebulas-super-simple-3-step-defoliation-tutorial Good luck... your plant look magnificent - don't go crazy with her!

The week started with a noticeable stretch! Plant growing fast and she is developing nice flowers. At day 65 noticed some yellowing in some lower leaves, they were in dark areas, maybe was because of that, or maybe a little bit of overwatering; anyway I decided to cut them and leave the plant concentrate on upper development. Hope is nothing wrong with her because I'm really putting a lot of effort on this girl! On day 66 she shown an underwatering wilting, and recovered fast after watering, so the yellowing was again caused by underwatering. Day 68 I noticed she is drinking really fast, still some lower leaves are yellowing. Thinking about a root flush. Day 69 still can see some leaves yellowing, and not a vigorous growth, will proceed a flushing on next watering.

Day 70: Started the week with a flush, I had the suspect of a nutrients lockout. Day 72, watered with nutrients. Day 73, first time I spot some trichomes on this baby. Day 74, I dropped her on the floor, but hey, I'm a medical user with problema I'm my hands, so don't be hard on me! Anyway looks that only a flower lost leaf and another fan leaf stem was broke. Day 75, she still looks good! Hope the stress of the fall down is not going to affect my yield. Day 76, watered with nutrients solution.

Day 77: week is starting pretty good. She is drinking a lot of water, still I can see some foliage problems like slow yellowing on the bottom and some burned spots. Day 79: watered with PHD water. Day 80: had to water again. The pot is little for the climate here. Day 83: watered with nutrients. I think that the yellowing is caused by wind burn, due to my fan. I moved the plant up so she is not going to receive air directly. Hope this is going to help.

Day 99: today I noticed way more trichomes on some buds. Day 100: watered with nutrients, lowered the dosis. Day 102: Watered with PHD water. Day 104: Watered with PHD water.

Was a nice experience to grow her. Reacted really good to topping, I topped her just once, than I used LST to maintain her little bit I think I messed up with it, I'm sure that she had the ability to produce way more if just I leaved her more free during her vegetative stage.
the end.
