Week 1 off to a great start! Top feeding using a water bottle currently. The roots on the seedling have not poked through the bottom of the grow cube, so I haven’t started the DWC process yet as it would be a waste of power, water and nutrients. Planning to power up the bucket towards the end of week 2. STAY TUNED
Thanks for the positive comments on the germination week! Not much has changed beyond stem thickening and overall sturdiness improvements. I’ve also turned on the second 600w LED that has the full spectrum colors on it. The taproot has just barely breached the bottom of the gro-cube, I suspect I’ll be filling the bucket for the first time by next week. Still top feeding from a water bottle for now…
Went away on vacation for a week and came home to some impressive growth! The bucket is running like a champ. The full spectrum LEDs have maintained cool temperatures, allowing for optimal conditions in the grow room. Really excited to see multiple roots having come through the netting. The next few weeks will be interesting to say the least. I’ve been keeping my PH at around 5.5 with lemon juice instead of PH up/down. See you guys next week!
Massive growth in root structure this week! Basically at the point now where I’m leaving the plant alone as much as possible. Getting chilly where I live so the temps have been nice and cool in the grow room. Looking forward to further veg growth in the coming weeks
Shitty week for the plant she looks to be coming down with root rot. Gonna take some precautionary measures but please keep my girl in your prayers 😭
Edit: 6 hrs after adding Biofungicide and she is looking good again!
Finally doing better after the root rot but I had to cut off a lot of the structure that was continuing to rot. Roots are finally beginning to regrow white and crisp instead of brown and slimy. Real sad week though didn’t think she would make it through but here we are. Early preflowers look female which is great.
Really good week over here! Amazing growth. Fox farms really does make the best shit. I’m going to begin flowering in approx 3 weeks unless the veg gets too big before then.
Amazing growth over the past week!!! Just insane development, turning into more of a bush than a tree. Loving the fox farms hydro + Biofungicide combination. Basically unstoppable roots. Filled almost the whole bucket now. Depending on height in the next two weeks I’ll make the decision on whether to start the flowering or not.
