Blue Gelato#41

First week! which means nothing happens, i water the plants with tab water and thats it :D according to the city my tab water should have EC 0,27 Ph 7,8 dGH, °dH 9,0 however i measure EC 0,44 Ph 7,6 which is still fine i gues=)

Second week! still boring:D the only thing that changed is that i started adding amino acids into the tab water once a week, it slightly lowers Ph other than that im still waiting for the cripple to either pull through or croak

Week three, still boring! Everything is going well, the plants have left their babyphase and are starting to grow at a faster pace now =) The pots will be to small for them in around 10 days so i will repot them into 11 liter pots next Friday or so i already dread dragging 200 liters of the highest grade growers soil (bio bizz all mix -_-) from the store into my dungeon The Critical Orange punch cripple has been fighting bravely for his right to stay in the tent, i am conflicted about ending his life or not =( There is another seedling, one of the blue gelato 41's, that is growing weird and i might also dispose of depending on his growth in the next week. I will get the clones to replace the 2 seeds that didnt sprout at the same store i get the soil but i havent decided yet which strain to pick (they always have these huge selections which makes it hard to decide :D)

Hello frens week five! okay playtime is over its starting to get serious! using my superior intelligence (i am a genius) i did the maths and figured out that i am already running late if i want to be done by christmas :/ so i will start sending them to sleep early anytime now and pull out the big bulb i dont know how much the gelato41's stretch, seedfinder says 80% and i am at 25 cm atm i think 50 is about as high as i can go before i need to do LST and i would really want to avoid that because with 16 plants thats hard work and i'm lazy=) look how uniform the gelatos grow, almost like clones the critical orange punch has left its crippled state and looks normal now, just super small and really cwute :D the slightly crippled blue gelato also looks fine now and grows normally. other than that nothing happend, i still dont use any fertilizers other than the weekly dose of amino acids see you next time <3

Hello frens, first week of flowerpower! everyone is doing fine =) i installed the 600W HPS on Tuesday, its beautiful the little cripple is now about 7cm tall only about a fourth of his brothers height and i wont expect much from him when it comes to yield, as long as he doesnt herm out i will be happy =) as for the rest i hope they will fill out that tent nicely but not so high that i have to tie them down see ya next week

Hello again frens, Week 2! Everything is under control=) The stretch is slowing down and will soon stop as i expected i bought the clones a little to late and they are about 30% smaller than their sisters but thats mkay they are only there to fill out the tent anyway still havent used any fertilizers, the plants have only been in the big 11 liter pots for about 3 1/2 weeks so they still have lots to nutes left in that soil soon the first little buds will form and when that happens i will switch to a better camera since there is finally something interesting to see=) see ya next week /╲/╭ºoꍘoº╮/╲/

salve frens week 3! they just wont stop stretching and i am pretty much at the maximum height with the lamps so i guess there will be some LST even though i dont want to -_- i installed a new light bulb because why not i also put in a new ballast unit its really lightweight and wont get super hot like the other one which means less heat in my box =) you may noticed white twist ties on my plants i use them to mark branches that i have already inspected for anything unusual (like hermis, bananas or nanas) i do this because i have little trust in seedbanks and the stability of their products :/ the guy who bred bruce banner even claims that most euro seedbanks dont do any breeding at all and get their seeds from the same 3 or 4 guys from spain so idk if i wouldnt be so busy already i would get some reg. seeds from a breeder directly and make my own clones.... Soon i will start to give fertilizer for the first time bloom, micro, budbooster the whole nine yards i will also start to use my good camera for the pics since the buds are coming in=) see you next week and happy halloween! salve Week 4! Buds are coming in and they FINALLY stopped stretching... The Blue Gelatos are now at 82cm which is fine but the kukulkan are way to tall so i had to do some LST Nutrients were given for the first time this week and this will continue until nine days before harvest i start slow and raise the EC with every feeding. I also put some tags on the plants so you can see what is what on the pics=) pics were made on different days i think the white stuff on the plants in some pictures is milk the temp difference between day and nighttime is to high which results in a little mildew i put some diluted whole milk on the affected areas because the lecithin in fresh wholemilk kills the fungi. i also got some fungus gnats, which is fine they dont damage the plants i still find them annoying so i keep them at bay with yellow boards no poisons in my grow room =) i still dont know if the Cannalope Haze is really a JMO or not time will tell see ya next week frens

Week 5! Everything is under control. The buds are starting to fatten up and the Trichoms are coming in other than that nothing happened=) see ya next week

Hello frens Week 6! Things are looking great the buds swell up really nice and the pistils starting to turn brown=) the main colas of the clones are already so heavy that their stems cant support their weight anymore, so i need to get some sticks to prop them up. (i had some prepared but now i cant find them-_-) the kukulkans heads are by far the fattest i hope they wont rot from the inside, i will check next week if there are any signs of mold inside them i will also get some "final solution" (lol i like that name) from advanced hydroponics because i heard it prevents mold and i wanna see if it makes any difference with the taste of the finished product oh, I also got some H2O2 to spray against the mildew because im tired of using whole milk wich makes my tent smell like cheese-_- thats its see ya next week

Hello frens Week 7! there is so much resin and the buds are super dense they also smell fantastic all the different strains result in a really nice fragrance =) i fed them for the last time this week, its only ph regulated water from now on. i also changed my mind on buying final solution and flushing because according to this study its BS pseudoscience that should be stomped out https://atrium.lib.uoguelph.ca/xmlui/handle/10214/12125 sadly one main kola had a little budrot on it because it stood to close to the lamp and i forgot to remove the chared sugar leaves luckily it was only on the outside and it hasn't spread a lot i cut out the affected area and put some H2O2 on it, its good now i checked the trichs and they are already about 70-80% cloudy so i will harvest at exactly 56 days cant wait=) see ya next week

Week 8! almost done, everythings glowing in autumn colors i checked the trichs and they are 90% cloudy so i would say they are finally done =) cant wait to cut their heads of though I dont look forward to the trimming doing 16 plants by myself usually takes me 8-12 hours depending on the shape of the kolas =( as you can see i already removed all the big fan leaves and most of the popcorn buds i only do that to lower my workload on harvestday from here on forward i wont flush my plants or use any "flushing" products anymore because of this https://atrium.lib.uoguelph.ca/xmlui/handle/10214/12125 i always water with 10% drain anyway so flushing always felt a little silly to me cant flush out salts if there arent any in the first place -_- see ya soon

its harvest time! as you can see i i dont cut the plant into pieces before trimming instead i put them on to a little stool and trim them standing up with the buds still attached to be plant that way i dont have to hold the buds and its easier on the back the nugs are dried at around 18°C and 55%rH until i think they are done the trims will be turned into a traditional festive christmas hash that my grandma used to make =)
