This is an interesting plant, for sure. It's short but stocky. I defoliated it lightly last week and it's just as full as it ever was! I think I'm going to have to give it one more defoliation to increase air flow and give buds room to grow. I'm going to stop with any defoliation after that. Pistils are all over the place and I'm looking to see some nice bud development over this next week. She hasn't shown many issues -- everything is going good!! Smell is not too pungent, but smells sour.
@@@Chi_Town_White_Boy, I love it here too. I wish my friends were growers, I'm dying to meet someone to talk ph levels and nutrients, and soil vs soilless. Unfortunately I don't have a irl friend to chat with about it, but this is the next best thing!

@MaryJaneUSA, thanks so much, brother! This is my 3rd full grow, I think. It might be my fourth, who can remember after you smoke all your crop? 😂 Hydro is pretty simple...I follow recommended nutrient proportions and just watch the reservoir temperature, PPM, and pH. Does the rest itself! We could use a few more DWC growers on this site!! 👊

I'm loving it! Short plant, with very close bud sites! I'm thinking I'll have to do a bit more defoliation soon to give more air and space.
Really diggin' this strain! Smells great! Growing well and handling any minor issues thrown at it!

@DinafemSeeds, Hi Mark! I did some major defoliation on day 62 - let me know what you think. It was a pretty drastic difference, though that didn’t translate as well in the pictures. I did very minor HST to bend the stems outward and open them up for air. I’m using a PerfectSun LED Mini, so I think I have good light penetration. Let me know if you think it needs even more defoliation. I appreciate your input!

I'm stoked about this grow and am hoping to channel all of my experience into making this an awesome grow. By time this plant gets to week 4 or so, it will likely have the tent all to itself. Any recommendations on topping/training? I like to top, even if it means a week or two delay... Would love your input!
@CommanderCannabis, it can be a little tricky guessing! There are so many leaves on this, but it's all looking pretty healthy. I should also add that of all my plants, this is the only one using a Perfect SUN LED (http://perfectsunled.com). I'm running some testing on different lights -- I have to say, the Perfect SUN has performed really well. I also bought a cheap app to compare spectrums. While it is in NO WAY scientific or super accurate, it does provide a baseline for the lights. The Perfect SUN KILLS the other LEDs I'm using right now. We'll see what kind of results I get! Thanks for checking my grow, comrade! 👊

hey man if you dont mind me asking what type of aerator do you use i have i have the spider tech aerator which i love but the pic of your buckets the aeration is insane what type air pump?
@Chaos85, I use a Vivosun industrial pump. I think I’m using the 1110gph pump, with 8 outlets. Each bucket has four 4” air stones. It’s a bit much when the plants are young but when the roots start massing up its great!
