Mohammed in Space-bucket

meneerGreen Mohammed (Space-bucket) 24-1, Today I took a Mohammed seed out of the fridge to let it acclimatize for a day. I got these seeds from cnnbs along with Sneez seeds for a report of mine I think from March last year. I hadn't had the opportunity to plant them yet (I have a lot of seeds), but today is the day, and I'm going to see what this Mohammed will bring me; the Sneez is for another time. 25-1, today I placed the Mohammed (strange name for a lady) for germination using the coffee filter method. A little something about the strain, Mohammed, Based on their findings regarding ease of cultivation, taste, aroma, effect, and yield, CNNBS readers chose the strain Mohammed as the best CNNBS Indica. This strain turned out to be a refined cross between Moroccan, Afghani, and Sensi Seeds’ Black Domina; a delightful combination of indica-dominant strains that earned the feminized Mohammed the title of best CNNBS Indica. Mohammed perfectly meets the requirements we set at the beginning of our search. It grows exuberantly and is strong and resilient. It can take a beating but remains beautifully compact. It responds quickly to topping or fimming with rapid development of side branches, making it perfect for growing in a grow box or tent. Mohammed's buds are just as you would expect from an indica: thick, hard, sticky, and irregularly shaped. From the second half of the seven to eight-week flowering phase, Mohammed produces a very sweet aroma, which later translates well into the flavor when smoked. Mohammed tastes wonderfully sweet and reminds one of exotic fruits like mango and pineapple. The effect is not surprising for an almost pure indica, but it is surprisingly strong. Mohammed buds are covered in a thick layer of trichomes. It is indeed a typical indica with a high THC percentage that relaxes both body and mind. Medicinally, this makes Mohammed a perfect strain for making cannabis oil. The yield of cannabis oil or concentrates is high due to the many trichomes. As an indica, and due to the high THC percentage, it is also an excellent pain reliever. Sleeping is no problem at all, but couch-lock is always lurking. • Strain: almost 100% indica • Genotype: Moroccan, Afghani, Black Domina • Sex: feminized • Flowering time: 7 to 8 weeks • Flavor: very sweet, mango, pineapple • Effect: stoned, relaxed, sedative, good for pain and insomnia • Seed company: CNNBS (in collaboration with Seed Stockers) So it looks very promising; I'm not really an Indica grower (I usually grow Sativas or Sativa-dominant strains), but I'm looking forward to being surprised. 26-1, I prepared a pot with soil (lightmix from Plagron) to let it warm up a bit since it's in my shed and it's quite cold, and I don't want to put the lady in waiting through that. I watered it with some warmer water just to bring it up to temperature a bit faster. The pot size I usually use for pre-growing in soil is 0.5 liters; I adjusted the water to pH 5.9 and added 0.5 ml of Rootstimulator, the EC is then 0.4 to 0.5, which can vary, strange but true. 27-1, I can almost set my clock by it, but after 48 hours I usually have a little root, and then the lady gets planted. I had already prepared and watered the soil but added a bit more so that the moisture meter indicates around 4 to 5. After that, I placed the lady under the fluorescent light (24 watts, T5 6400K) mainly for warmth; I covered the pot for the first 1 to 2 days so it stays nice and dark until she breaks through the soil. I left a little edge in the pot, so if she stretches a bit, I can fill it up; I always try to let them stretch a bit so that she has an extra long taproot. 29-1, The lady is above ground; today I immediately removed the cover, and I’ll fill the soil tomorrow or at least sometime this week. 31-1, Today I filled the pot with soil to the edge; I actually have a pot that's too small, but it will be fine when she gets transferred to the bucket (in 1 to 3 weeks); I’ll just plant her a bit deeper or leave it as is, I’ll see at that moment. I’ve given the lady a bit of water a few times this week; I keep the pot on the heavier side for the feel, which worked well for me last time, and she looks great, so I think I'm doing well by not letting the pot dry out too much. She’s getting adjusted water with some root stimulator; if the roots come out of the bottom of the pot before I can transfer her, I might put her in a slightly larger pot and let her pre-grow a bit longer. She needs to learn to stay away from the light, lol.
