Very excited to try my first auto strain, couldn’t be happier to grow dinafem and their great genetics. This will be a big gal. I will only ponytail and lst the plant the entire grow. Starting them on veg nutes until they’re lookin hungry
Hey everyone, the auto is coming along nicely she’s stretching out with a little lst. The plant gets a nice tan every morning and the leaves have hardened up. Currently using AN ab 4L ml per litre in coco and mars hydro || 400 10” from the canopy
1 Gallon rootball. I need advise from the experts. I’ve grown trees in 2 gallon bags but I want to try growing the same plants downsized a pot. What are your experiences growing in fabric pots and coco and how does pot size effect rootmass/yields
Hello @dutdut ! People have the misconception that a big pot is always better and bigger pot means more yield. That's not true at least not always. I have managed to pull 250 grams from auto flower at 10 liter fiber pots while some other guy might have a 20 l and pull 100 grams. When you use smaller pots your first enemy is root bound but this will happen only if you are using plastic pots and not fiber. When roots grow and penetrate the fabric of the pot and have contact with dry air and light they die while in plastic pot that never happens and roots growing and twist around the pot. So the roots at fabric pots are self pruning. Also fabric pots give a huge air flow to your growing medium and your roots create many many root hairs ( root hairs are the part of the root that actually absorb nutrients while the root is just a channel to move them ) Your other enemy is that when growing in small pot roots take almost all of the space inside the pot and the soil can't absorb water. So you need to water very often or use an auto watering system and you also need to use more nutrients.Happy growing ! 👊

The autos are looking great. They’re losing like 80hrs this week being on 12/12 due to the photos finishing up. They look happy and soon they’ll get their 20/4 back 🔥
Drippers feed twice a day 20h growth! The one gallons were emergency transplanted into Walmart bags. They all look great super cropping the newer vegging plants. I like the main plant in this diary I hope it takes off soon
Plants look great! I wish they were a little taller and bigger but you learn from your mistakes. I won’t top them next time and let them grow like a Christmas tree.
Good fast growth over the past week. I upped the feeding and the 4 plants flowering got a little burned but the plants vegging don’t have any nute burn. Is that strange? Same feed. Anyways thanks for checking in! Dut
All the plants are amnesia XXL. It’s crazy to see how different training styles bring different shapes and even leaf size. Buds almost look white covered in tiny thrichs. The plant with the lighter is 94 days still no amber☺️
First plant chopped around day 100 and was harvested at 60% amber which I feel like was a little too long, #2 is flushing while #3 has a couple more days to swell both around day 90 and have around 20% amber 80 cloudy heads. Plants are getting 1.1ppm of straight maxibloom twice a day until runoff, most are in 2-3gallon fabric pots/Walmart bags
This plant is a lot bigger than the last one, after drying #1 yielded 80g, hoping to get a little more off this girl 👧The higher stretch and deeper light penetration has these buds sparkling compared to the first one smells like pepper and some strange aroma I can’t put my finger on. UPDATE:#2 yielded a little under 110 grAms of super frosty tasty buds. I did not up weighing #3.Buds are curing for some time and I’ll do a smoke/rosin report
Last two amnesia autos left and the one is a straight beast. I love the way it grows untrained. This is my first auto strain and dinafem did a outstanding job with the genetics. Got my set up dialed in and the plants did the rest can’t wait to make some hash it’s super ressy!
After drying/curing, the smoke test is in! Unfortunately I would only rate the strain a 5/10 production and growth seems a little. Not a heavy hitter in joints or bowls. Rosin returns seems below average but I’ve never weighed anything. Very pungent strain smells like gas/freshly cracked pepper. Black pepper and the spicy terpes carry through to the solvent less. I’ll make bubble hash with the rest and go from there. DISCLAIMER: We all expand our knowledge every grow and this is my first auto.
Sorry I missed last week been really busy! 700ppm three times a day. The smaller plant is coming down today I’ll post more pictures with the proper weigh ins soon! Excited for these two plants they look great. Small plant has been flushing for a week or so with tap water
Huge dongs on the remaining amnesias she’s fading yellow and falling all over the place I could cut her now with 20% amber but I’m inclined to wait a little bit longer to induce a little couchlock! The strain doesn’t hit very hard at all but when made into hash or rosin the strain has great flavour profile and comes out very blonde
