Hey folks,
So like most folks I do a combo of the paper towel method, glass of water, and rock wool methods.
This run is just for fun, and to test a few things. Im adding extra air stones to this run, feeding slightly stronger with flushes if necessary, and more aggressive defoliation during flowering to prevent larf. Im going for a large yield with zero larf on this one.
Hope stuff goes well.
Thanks for looking
Hey folks. Had burning early on due to too strong nutes too soon. Lesson learned. I will wait until she’s a little bigger before I start bumping it up. I’ll keep you posted!
Hey everybody,
Nothing really much to see. I feel bumping the nutes slightly to 500ppm has been received well. My goal is to veg this for a while, so I will pretty aggressive with the feed. Hope it doesn’t hurt me in the end!
Thanks for looking folks!
Hey Everybody,
So mistakes were made. A little too rough with ole girl, but a little tape a d turning the fan down should help the healing. I’m giving the plant around 2 weeks before I touch it again to get a little stronger and robust.
Hey Folks,
Sorry about the late post. Life’s crazy. What can I say.
As far as this girl goes, she looks healthy and responding well to the environment. I have been removing secondary bud sites to focus on just the 16 tops. I will veg her out for another 2 weeks before flipping into flower. I moved the light up to aid in stretching to the top of the tomato ring. Im also going for 2 more weeks to allow all the tops to Mary more.
Hey everybody,
Day one of flower is here! Excited about this run and the additions. Hope it works out but this is an experiment so I’m not sweating too much!
Hey Folks,
Same ole same ole. The plant looks healthy and happy. I am running a higher ppm of nutrients. I am achieving my desired number by adding the base nutrients one gallon measurements, and then check ppm.
I am watching this closely and I adjust the ph twice a day (every 12 hours).
Thanks for looking!
Hey everybody,
So I decided to do the day 21 defoliation and forgot to get before shots. My bad. Needless to say, it was very bushy so I removed any left that had a stem and a d growth that branched off the 16 main tops. This is to maximize the 16 mains and not a bunch of small stuff. I am new to this heavy of defoliation, but this is an experimental plant so I’m not worried. Also, I decided to do some light supercropping at this point to assist in bud growth. I’ve done this with onesies and twosies before with amazing results so I’m trying to replicate that as well. Hopefully not too much stress especially with the high ppm solution.
We shall see. Thanks for looking folks!
Hey everybody and happy holidays,
So this blueberry plant is packing on some weight. I have been making small adjustments to the Scrog to keep the canopy even. The smell is getting pretty strong so I’m running my carbon filter full time to reduce odor. If you suffer from smell issues, along with a good carbon filter and fan, try using a door sweep (a thing that you slide under your door to keep the air, smell, sound, etc… in. Works well to reduce smell and noise from spreading in my place.
I reduced the feed from the 1300-1500 range to the 1100-1300 range due to the slight burning on the tips. I will probably keep it here for the next couple of weeks until it’s time to start wrapping her up.
The weirdo in the middle looks awesome! It’s super leafy, but I’m excited to see how that turns out. Leave a comment if you’ve seen something like that in your gardens. How’d it turn out?
Thanks for looking folks
Hey Folks,
Just an update on the garden. She is looking good without any real issues to report. The leaves are looking dark green and shiny, but I feel that might be because of its age and the temp of the water. It’s looking like it’s wrapping up, but it’s still super early so I’m gonna let her go for at least the full 8 weeks, checked the trics, at the start of week 7. I usually let my plants go and harvest on the latter end, but we will see. Oh and that polyploid is looking good! Can’t wait to dry, trim, and cure that beauty!
As always, Stay healthy and thanks for looking folks!
Hey Folks,
So old girl is almost ready to chop. I’m checking the trics now and they look like they can go another week or so. I’ve learned to lean more on the long than short side of you can for max yield and potency. She smells sweet the buds look fairly heavy and dense.
Next week, we flush!!
See y’all then!
Hey Party People,
It flush time! I started seeing 5-10% amber trics, so I decided to start the flush process this week. The buds aren’t huge, but they are dense, and have some weight on it, so I think we’re a week out.
I’ll keep you posted!
Hey Folks! Growing BB was pretty straightforward and no real issues to speak of. With colder temps, lots of shades come out. Not the largest buds, but very dense and smell blueberry sweet. I can’t wait for the dry, trim, and cure phases to be done so I can fully enjoy this one!
Notes for the next run: This pheno was very durable and took a lot of nutes with no issues until the end(maybe overdid it). The larger air stones played a significant role in the size of the plant. Can’t wait to run it again!
All the best to your new girl on her journey to frostiness 🌱💚 I'm pomping a lot of air in my RDWC system and looking now with the new high electricity bills to lower the amount...with my DWC i started a month ago i pomp only 6 l/h of air and for now it looks good. My question is how much air do you pomp?
@MainMedicineMan, I got about the same amount of air in my RDWC with 4 buckets + reservoir and each got two "can" stones ...you are right it makes a lot of bubbles😎
@Metatronix, thanks for looking my friend. To answer your question, I am using 2 coke can style air stones with 2 air pumps I found on Amazon. Here’s the info: Pawfly 254 GPH Aquarium Air Pump Adjustable Quiet Oxygen Aerator Pump with Multi-Port Air Flow Control Lever Valve Splitter and Airline Tubing for Fish Tanks Ponds and DWC Systems Up to 300 Gallons https://a.co/d/8lRNj8F
Makes lots of bubbles!
@StunFlower, thank you my friend. I feel ya with the patience thing. I normally am an impatient person, but I do enjoy full progression of a mainline grow. Looks cool and yields pretty good numbers.
@TeamQuality420, thanks my friend! Checked out your stuff! Your amazing! Great garden and thanks for being a resource for less experienced growers. We appreciate it!
