Cali Kush/Fast Jack/Cookies Kush

Hey Growers So I’m gonna try something different to save space. Monster cropping. I’ll flower out a mother then revel the plant. I figure that will allow for more flowering plants and a good rotation of flowering l. So what we have here is a Sonoma Seeds Cali Kush 20:1 cbd, a Barney’s Farms Cookies Kush and a Fast Jack. They have been growing for some time and are ready to flower. I tied them down with a trellis net and cleaned up the undercarriage some but left a good amount of bud sites to allow for re veg. I am using the Spider Farmer SF4000 which I love. It’s super powerful, great spectrum, not too hot and the plants love it!! For media I use Sunshine #4 peat mix and using Gaia Green Organics 444 all purpose and 284 for bloom. Which I also love. It’s so easy to use and the plants also love it. We’ll get these flowering once I’m sure they’re happy and not stressed. Happy Growing 🌱

Hey Growers. Things around here are going great. These buds are fattening up super nicely, the smells are starting to overpower my lone carbon filter. It’s almost time to get the second one fired up. The buds are getting frosty and the trichomes are big and gritty like fine sand between your fingers. I’m loving all the changes I’ve made to make this as easy as possible. I still have a couple weeks to go so I’m pumped to see how big these girls can get. Happy Growing 🌱

Hey Growers. These girls are just flying along on cruise control. Growing like mad and beefing up nicely. I’ve got the second carbon filter going to tame the smell that was pumping out all my windows 😆 All I’m doing is too dressing with Gaia Green 284 and watering with a bit of monster bloom, a little goes a long way!! These girls are loving it. I’ve dimmed the SF4000 down 5% as I’m trying to imitate fall and I find the terps are stronger when they aren’t cooked off by intense light in late “fall”. Happy Growing 🌱

Hey Growers. It’s going great around here. These girls are happy, healthy and growing like mad. They’ve chunked up so much that they’re starting to lay down. It’s just a couple at the moment so I’ll keep an eye on them and see if intervention is needed. The trichomes are so gritty it feels like table salt between your fingers and the Cali has a orange/lemon citrus and woody scent. The Jack is sour skunk and the cookies Kush is a sweet sugary scent. I’m not 100% sure if they’re fox tailing from light stress or just natural Kush characteristics. I’ll be keeping an eye out for hermie’s and stress. I’ve added some Green Planet Rezin, as I think it’s awesome and helps with aroma and makes oily terps. I’m thinking this will be my last top dress and I’ll probably just do half dose and top up with monster bloom for the next couple waters then drop everything except cal and Rezin. Happy Growing 🌱

Hey Growers. So we have a bit of a problem, but I’m not super concerned as we’re almost done. I noticed some hermies starting on the Cali Kush. None of the ovules on any of the 3 plants I’ve checked have seeds in them so I’m confident I won’t lose potency from seed production. Probably just late season hermie action. I’ve picked the nanners I found off and we’ll move forward. I’m thinking probably just another week so time will tell. Im just watering with a bit of cal mag as I use RO water and running this out til the trichomes are ready. Happy Growing 🌱

Hey Growers Darkness days are upon us. They’re done and ready to sit for a couple days, then I’ll chop them. Things have gone really well and I’m happy with what I see. I’m thinking this will be a huge haul for a 4x4 tent. The buds are beasts with hard nugs and have that Kush fox tail characteristic. The stink is magical and the trichomes are super gritty. The Cali Kush are so fat they’re laying down in the back. I’m very happy with the results. Happy Growing 🌱

This grill went really well. In growing three different strains it did pose a bit of a problem later in flower due to differing light conditions needed by the three different plants. The Cali Kush being more Indica required less light and the jack Herer needed a bit more to finish nicely. This caused some light stress to the Cali Kush which caused late flower Hermes but didn’t cause any long-term problems like seeds or burn. All in all I’m happy with 600 g from a 4 x 4 tent and a 480 W light. This is especially true when you add in the Gaia Green and how easy it makes growing.
