Darox First time tent grow here. Just getting used to everything and honestly not sure I'm getting the amounts right or the watering down correct. Water at least twice a day with about 800 Ml each time. Day 9 since planted.

I did mention in my comment that I water about 800 Ml twice per day split between 6 plants in the 1 large pot and can notice quite a few of the plants have slight yellowing. So not sure if this is a watering issue or nutrient problem or normal.

Hey man that's lack of calcium because your plants want to go hard - maybe double or triple the cal mag you're giving it can never really be too much and maybe add a chelation agent like fluvic and hummic acids it's cheap and it's bio ! mag sulfur also exists could be a good one if you're not already adding sulfur at this stage πŸš€

Darox Just to clarify a few things, I'm using Coco coir (70%) and perlite (30%). Actual size of the plants varies from around 1.5 Inches to 2 Inches so far. I think I may have really tiny flies or something similar messing with the one plant that looks the worst. Working on fixing with Diatomaceous Earth / Neem oil when it arrives. Now watering once per day and alternating cal mag with Day 1 and nutrients with Day 2 & repeat. Still waiting on a ppm pen that I have on order. Any suggestions / tips are welcome. And can anyone confirm if the current plant size is expected for end of week 2 , start of week 3? p.s. I swear this site messed up the nutrient listings, it should read: Bloom = 0.6 ml per 1L Micro = 1.2 ml per 1 L Grow = 1 ml per 1L Update 13/08/18... Might have gone slightly overboard with the Diatomaceous Earth. Most of them now look pretty decent and getting some nice smells. πŸ˜† 3rd update on week 3. Now using a PPM pen and getting around 418 ppm with 2 litres of mixed nutrients. Going to let it sit for a bit to see if it changes much. PH around 6. If I need to adjust, please let me know.

Darox In to start of week 4 / day 2. They are starting to grow decently, some slight tacoing on the edge of the leaves for quite a few, but otherwise looking great. Might need some more cal mag. I've starting doing around 400 Ml per pot and trying to keep the overall coco damp, rather than let it dry out, still doing 1 water per day. As these are auto flowering, not sure if I should bother trimming the lower leaves, but feel free to weigh in if you think otherwise. Slightly concerned at humidity levels, but I think that may be down to using more water.

Darox Ok, so some very nice development this week. I did get worried about my plants drooping a lot toward lights out and early morning, but put that down to some fairly low temps in my area, putting room heater on at night seems to have helped a lot. Also almost fried my babies by turning off my out-take for about 30 mins, but caught them in time. I split the nutes over 2 litres of water and divide that up between 5 pots at 400 Ml per plant and stick to once a day, though I'm not sure if Ill need to up that again with how big they are getting. They have started getting their first white pistils. Most of them are around 7 to 8 inches in hight, though one that had lower soil levels is around 10 inches😸.

Darox Start of week 6 now, Not sure if this is technically in the flowering stage yet, but def seeing more of the white white pistils. Accidentally overdid it a little on nutrients so had a good flush with some ph balanced water and all seems good, just 1 or 2 burn spots on a leaf here and there. Dialling it all back to keep it safe at the moment. I've had to bend the tallest plant over and am using my tent net to secure it for now. Included a few vids this time, so feel free to let me know if you spot any issues. Smell is now noticeable if I leave my grow tent open whilst watering, so glad I got a carbon filter. :D Also had to get a bit inventive to shift the LED lights up a bit as Im using a 160 CM tall tent. I am planning to bend most of the tops down to the net hight, so hopefully this will keep things from getting light burn as still have about 25 inches of space from the net to the LED its self. Watering is around 600 Ml per pot per 24 hrs just now. Edit: 04/09/18 Added 2 more pics, mostly on some of the lowest leafs, noticed some marks, thankfully just 1 or 2, so not widespread and could equally just be a bit of nutrient burn, but thought Id post to see if anyone notices something I dont.

Darox Ok so I got a bit worried about some slight nutrient burn and have just been given plain ph'd water for the last 2 days at 800 Ml per pot. I'm noticing some leaf tips curling up and yellowing on some of them mainly in the centre. Not sure if I should go back to nutrients at this stage or just continue with plain water till full flower and harvest. If anyone has some thoughts, please chime in. Above pics were taken in dark with phone flash to try and give better idea of leaf colour.

Darox They seem to be doing ok, apart from the one at the back right which is developing red spots on upper leaves, think its a deficiency rather than bugs. Have been trying to water down nutes a bit more so its more like the above amounts split between 2 litres instead of 1 litre. Not sure I should up the amount at this point.

Darox Ok so getting a bit concerned. I'm trying to keep nutrients low, but am noticing spotting on some other leaves and some of the white pistils lower down are growing in brown instead of white. Spotting on at least one of the plants has gotten to the degree I've trimmed it a bit and the lower leaves look fine. Please let me know if you see an issue with any of the above pictures / advice. - Update: Ok looks like I have a bit of light burn and possibly some nutrient issues as well. Have been adding more cal mag. Trying to water a bit less than was as may not have been letting the coco dry out enough. And I have moved my LED lights as far up as is possible currently to try and see how it goes, not sure If I've mucked this up or will still get a decent harvest. Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Edited: 28/09/18 Got a nice mini led microscope to check out my affected leaves. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LAX52IQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Glad to report that I have not seen a single mite on any of my checks between 60 to 120 magnification. Even split open a stem where I had to remove a leaf earlier and had a look inside just to be sure. There are lots of little circle type globs on the leaves, but I take it this is trichomes and not eggs.

Darox Ok so it looks like my plants are progressing well. Still got some yellowing on leaves under the upper canopy, though I think this is possibly normal or just lack of the led's penetrating that far, have removed all the weak ones. Some leaves do fall off on their own. Not sure if I should fuly trim all the burn leaves or just leave them for now. Also not sure when the above would be considered harvest-able. Tooks pics with and without lights on to give a better idea.

Darox Started adding some Fulvic and Humic Acid Growth Enhancer today. Getting orangey pistils on a few of them now, all looking pretty good. Honestly not sure if getting close to harvest now and a good idea to cut back on nutes or continue for a week or two more? Also I did add some Epsom salts in a couple of watering to up the surfer.

Darox 1st ever grow for me. So a lot of learning during this grow and a big shout out to everyone who gave helpfull tips. Thanks all. Honestly not sure about weight as I dont have the tools to weigh it yet, but will update this once its dried and can properly weigh on some mini scales I've got. Now just need to watch humidity and temps for the cure. And if I do it again, a taller tent will be a must, its nice not worrying about them growing into the light. :D Edit: 1 week later, humidity is dropping a bit low to 30 - 35%, so putting them all in jars now with Boveda 62% humidity packs. (I hear these mean you can avoid burping the jars, so much less hassle.) The sugar trim and few buds I've tested are pretty solid, so looking forward to see how it all performs once properly cured.

Thanks Mg2009, its a 80% Indica plant, so not sure waiting for amber is a good idea, noticing quite a few of the leaves I've tested so far have clear to milky pistles with the odd amber here and there.

MG2009 commented7y ago
I'am guessing? 2-weeks your going into week 6 of flowering, check trichomes under magnification should be 10-30%, Amber would be a good starting point, sometimes a staggered harvest is good with New plants find out if you like earlier, mid,or late flower., Feed her now week 6 to early to flush, unless nutrient burn is present at leaf tips. A little nutrient burn at tips is a good indication to cut back a little.
