Here we go! I got inspired from someone on Growdiaries to have a go at Scrog. This is my first attempt with this technique.
Tent is nearly ready, putting the netting and the fan today. Ladies will go in there in around 24 hours.
Please feel free to let me know along the way how i am doing with this. I did a lot of research, watched a lot of videos, hell, read books even! But nothing beats a conversation with somebody who has experience in this. Any advice is more than welcome.

Day 4 and i am finally starting to see them settle in their environment, new growth is now daily visible to the eye.
Only thing they are getting now is h2o ph'ed at 6 twice a day. Once as a light mist before lights on and once in the pot. This schedule will continue until i start incorporating some Bio Roots from GHE as from day 10.
I am also running an experiment with volcanic rocks. Lady 1 has them in the pot mix, and lady 2 does not. I have seen a lot of positives on these volcanic rocks to help aerate the medium as well as being a source of sulphur and potassium, helping in flower.
Anyone has experience with this?
The only thing im not happy yet with the setup is the humidity and temperature inside. Trying to figure out this week how to drop both, thinking of adding a more powerful fan for the extraction at the moment and maybe open the tent for a few hours during lights on.
Other than that, going quite smooth...just too slow for my liking lol, wish i could be tying dem branches on the net already!

Both ladies are growing nicely together and they seem to like the Bio roots i started on them.
Interestingly enough, lady 1 is growing slightly slower than her sister...and thats the one with volcanic rocks inside the mix. Could it be that it has somehow an effect that early?
Also managed to get the temps down a bit by increasing fan speed and changing orientation. They seem to like that too.
Grow cannabis indoors they said, its gonna be easy and fun...i agree with the fun part, not so much with the easiness of it!
Here are the ladies on 3 days short of 3 weeks.
I had a mistype last week on height, they are this week on about 12 cm...nodes are very packed which i do not normally get with my main light in big tent.
2 observations :
1) Node spacing was better than expected, scrog net is still about 40 cm up. I attribute this to my spare light which i was not using for a while. Shows me that my main light in big tent needs a replacement soon.
2) I think my mix is rich enough so i will try skipping grow nutes, one more week with Bio Roots then 2 weeks water only and off to bloom nutes directly.
I feel like things are about to get serious in the next couple of weeks, exciting days ahead!
What do you guys think for day 18?

First time going for scrog, ladies on day 18 with interesting node spacing.
When do you guys reckon i should start with lst in preparation for them approaching the net? Also, where is the best starting point for that, so i just bend the main stem sideways and tie it?
There's a few ways to go about it, you can wait a few days and snip the top off. That way all the sides will shoot up making your plant more compact. I prefer lst myself, just get some plant wire create a loop around the top and bend it so its visably no longer the top. You will have to keep readjusting the ties whenever one becomes the highest part. Check out my fast buds diary, i do bruce banner that responded great to lst. Give you an idea of where to start
Wow...what can i say, my first try at real lst in preparation to scrogging was very exciting...even more when i see the ladies responding so well to it!!

Readjusted 4 days after on day 25 and they still responding well!
Cant wait for the stretch now!
Iooking promising.
Bud sites are now showing more and more white pistils which leans me towards the thought that i have autos, i am happy i did not top it when store could not confirm their type!
On the other hand, they have reacted both very well to the lst (one slightly better than the other) and now that i know they are autos, thats about it for lst, i will let them do their thing now and will concentrate on scrogging part.
As i write this, 3 days after taking the pictures, it also looks as if stretch has started and i expect them to hit the net in the coming days!!
Here we go...they were autos and we are officially into flowering on day 42!
1 is stretching more than 2, still have no idea why. I dont think the volcanic rocks i have in the medium has anything to do with it.
Nice bud sites and the fun with the net has started, good times ahead.
Both look healthy and ive trimmed a few close to dead leaves on the bottom of the plants.
Funny observation this week. Front lady is taller and more pale. Back lady is shorter, greener and looks like she is flowering quicker too, buds are growing faster there and i have no idea why...came to the conclusion it has nothing to do with me, looks like 2 different phenos maybe!
My first time with liquid fish, lets see if its as good as they say...going to space it, 1 week with and 1 whole week without.
Bottom fan leaves are yellowing with veins staying green longer then falling, lack of light id say.
