Plant 1 (Day 36) continues to be shorter and wider than plant 2. I'm a little concerned that its too dense under the canopy. Regardless, seems like there is a lot of growth. 11" tall with some pistils growing Plant 2 (Day 34) keeps chugging. 12.5" Tall with more pistils growing. Tried a solution with Grow Big and Cal Mag. Plants seemed ok. Was going to add in Big Bloom to the mix. Adjusted light to be 14" above plant and turned it up to 100% power

wondering, do i need more light than this spider LED 1000? If not, should i be cranking this spider LED to 100% or keep it at 25% (thinking this is hitting that 20-30 Watt/ft2) (total sqft is at 11)

Spider farmer SF1000 is good in my opinion it will enough for 2 plant perfectly ( i use for 3 plants) but depend with your grown room size too and Dimmer should be adjust by any stage of plant for example , seedling needs 300-400 PPFD , Veg need 600-800 PPFD Hope you're happy with grows!

what to do with ventilation. They say autoflowers dont depend so much on a light cycle, so could i leave the closet door open? not too worried about smell in an apartment (1st of 2 floors, duplex style) so im a bit wary of any alterations of the apartment itself. bite the bullet

I grow in a tent and keep it open at least 4 hours a day. Just to get the humidity and heat out. So leaving the door open isn't such a big deal with autos. If you do want to keep it contained; get a tapestry to hang over the doorway. If you want ventilation take the door off it hinges hang a 2 tarps over the doorway overlapping. Cut a hole in one of the flaps for ac ducting. Then just get a inline fan and a carbon filter. Cheapest way to make a closed environment.

I feel like they arent growing at maximum speed. what are some obvious solutions i could act on right now to improve the life of my seedlings? using 75% power on my lighting right now. had been between 30-50% before just adjusting the power last night(Day 7) more details in diary

Pal. This is early on.. and you can't really judge how good a seedling doing until your about 15days in.. you should see rapid changes as soon as the coly have grown and split and she'll take off. Idk what light you are using. But if it's near 100w with 1000 ppfd. It's too high. You only need 25-50% for early stages of veg. 3-500ppfd is fine for the stage you are at. As I said. You can't really judge a If a growth is slow until you are into your 2nd week or even more. She's on track. And another thing. As you have started them in big pots, like I did myself this round. They take a little longer but the roots take hold. In a smaller pot, you can get quicker growth. But it's an auto so, ppl say, not to uppot. But, done right without any stress, I done really well uppotinh and makes for stronger roots. Good luck.

Two weeks without nutes, on right ph water only. Thats what i would do. Plus misting daily and watering right does magic too.

The days on the plants are since planting, so i was going to keep the vegetative light schedule until 5 weeks since planting, then start moving towards a 12/12. Is it even optimal for an autoflower to have a traditional 12/12 lighting schedule during flowering?

Only photoperiods need 12/12 to flower, the whole point of autoflower is that they will just flower without you doing anything - therefore you cannot plan how long you want to veg them, they will just flip when they decide so, usually after 4-5 weeks. Ideally you should just stick to 18/6 or 20/4 for the whole grow. Using 12/12 has no benefit to it with autos, instead you are just depriving them from light and therefore growth, and your yields decrease as their life cycle is pre-determined.

Pruning ideas along the stems? Was thinking that some of the branches at the bottom that may never get over the lid of the pot should be snipped off. Also, good idea to keep blue/red light shining under the canopy?

I would cut the bottom out, but wait another week or 2. Light under canopy does nothing but make leaves turn towards it. I would remove them, and put them overhead if needed. Only tops of leaves will benefit from. Light.

Recent plants were 80 degrees at the bottom of the plant with 20% humidity. no direct fan on the buds. there were toasting. looking to follow vpd charts more closely next grow. What kind of fan should i switch to to hit the plants directly with? also, thinking of doubling light

about the LED , Spider farmer SF1000 its claim about adequate for 2x2 grow room , but mine tried to use SF1000 with 3 plants inside 2x2 grow room and now works good , may be its lacking when flowering , but i think its OK with my first grown my SF-1000 setting germination : height around 45cm , dimmed 30% Seedling : height around 45 cm , dimmed 30-60% Veg : height 45 cm , dimmed 60-80% Flower : height 30 cm , dimmed 90-100%

@EJBudz, if you dont feed, fox farm could be too ritch, but if you dont add anything, girls should make it. Good humidity and ph is essential for next two weeks, no feed needed. She could be stunt by dry air or light. 50 cm distance, 50% power of light. Temp 25-28 cel , humidity 65-75 % in vegetation period and they should start growing very rapidly ;)))

@AsNoriu, i am overfeeding or @HazyCrazy420?
AsNoriu

@HazyCrazy420, honestly, help is nice ! but learn to grow before sharing something with others. sf1000 dimmed more than 50% is stupid, overfeeding ( like you do) brings only small and sick plants, then you can have even 10 under such light...... Thats one plant light. you can split it for two, but personally think it will be too weak ...
