Just threw the seeds in the glass of water. have a 3'4" x 3'4" closet. going to go with 2 plants. wondering, do i need more light? If not, should i be cranking this spider LED to 100% or keep it at 25% (thinking this is hitting that 20-30 Watt/ft2) (total sqft is at 11) what to do with ventilation. They say autoflowers dont depend so much on a light cycle, so could i leave the closet door open? not too worried about smell in an apartment (1st of 2 floors, duplex style) so im a bit wary of any alterations of the apartment itself. bite the bullet and cut some holes in the door, or, create a false wall, with foamular board (would stick my mylar on it) then cut holes in that for two fans in/out? any input greatly appreciated

Spider farmer SF1000 is good in my opinion it will enough for 2 plant perfectly ( i use for 3 plants) but depend with your grown room size too and Dimmer should be adjust by any stage of plant for example , seedling needs 300-400 PPFD , Veg need 600-800 PPFD Hope you're happy with grows!

I grow in a tent and keep it open at least 4 hours a day. Just to get the humidity and heat out. So leaving the door open isn't such a big deal with autos. If you do want to keep it contained; get a tapestry to hang over the doorway. If you want ventilation take the door off it hinges hang a 2 tarps over the doorway overlapping. Cut a hole in one of the flaps for ac ducting. Then just get a inline fan and a carbon filter. Cheapest way to make a closed environment.

The slightly bigger seedling is on day 7 after planting. The smaller seedling is day 5 after planting. The day 7 seedling was planted about a half inch deep, the younger seedling about half that. Watering at least twice a day with a sprayer, just holing it for a second or two longer after the initial surface of the seedling pot is covered. . filtered water room temperature. Its potted in fox farms soil. no added nutrients yet. I havent installed a ventilation solution yet, nor just a basic fan. I recently turned up the power on my lighting to ~75% while im home over the weekend so i can keep a watch on it. its caused the heat to turn up to about 85. I feel like theyre not growing as fast as they could. am i missing something important?

Pal. This is early on.. and you can't really judge how good a seedling doing until your about 15days in.. you should see rapid changes as soon as the coly have grown and split and she'll take off. Idk what light you are using. But if it's near 100w with 1000 ppfd. It's too high. You only need 25-50% for early stages of veg. 3-500ppfd is fine for the stage you are at. As I said. You can't really judge a If a growth is slow until you are into your 2nd week or even more. She's on track. And another thing. As you have started them in big pots, like I did myself this round. They take a little longer but the roots take hold. In a smaller pot, you can get quicker growth. But it's an auto so, ppl say, not to uppot. But, done right without any stress, I done really well uppotinh and makes for stronger roots. Good luck.

kept everything the same week over week. not sure why, besides gravity, the leaves are curling down a bit. Replanted Wiz today and the roots didnt even come close to filling out the original little pot. Felt a bit discouraged so i will leave khalifa in there another week i think. Added a little bit of Fox farms Big bloom just once this week Edit pre week 3: I figure its time to put the day 18 in a new pot. its leaves are as wide as its current pot if not a tad wider. Day 20 is looking stronger, like its starting to rebound from its premature repotting. Tips of 2 of the leaves have this matted look. not sure why? Ive been a bit lazy but i have more mylar. need to get a little fan. havent used any ferts since the one time last week. Theyre sitting in FF Ocean forest soil. Time again? Been leaving the red/blue lights on for a couple extra hours at night. bringing the total light to 21 hours but its much weaker under those red/blue sticks. Overall still feel these pups are lagging kinda hard compared to where they could be. Big lamp at 60%

Two weeks without nutes, on right ph water only. Thats what i would do. Plus misting daily and watering right does magic too.

Plant 1 is wider and stands at 6 inches tall. she doesnt drink as much, seemingly only needing watering every 3 days. Plant 2 is taller at 7.75 inches and wants water every 2 days. Been trying to mist the leaves with water once or twice a day. Tinkering with the light intensity a bit as i got some heat stress on plant 1 when i had it near 75%. about 60% now. Plant 2 seems to want more light

The days on the plants are since planting, so i was going to keep the vegetative light schedule until 5 weeks since planting, then start moving towards a 12/12. Is it even optimal for an autoflower to have a traditional 12/12 lighting schedule during flowering?

Only photoperiods need 12/12 to flower, the whole point of autoflower is that they will just flower without you doing anything - therefore you cannot plan how long you want to veg them, they will just flip when they decide so, usually after 4-5 weeks. Ideally you should just stick to 18/6 or 20/4 for the whole grow. Using 12/12 has no benefit to it with autos, instead you are just depriving them from light and therefore growth, and your yields decrease as their life cycle is pre-determined.

Plant 1 (Day 36) continues to be shorter and wider than plant 2. I'm a little concerned that its too dense under the canopy. Regardless, seems like there is a lot of growth. 11" tall with some pistils growing Plant 2 (Day 34) keeps chugging. 12.5" Tall with more pistils growing. Tried a solution with Grow Big and Cal Mag. Plants seemed ok. Was going to add in Big Bloom to the mix. Adjusted light to be 14" above plant and turned it up to 100% power

Pruning ideas along the stems? Was thinking that some of the branches at the bottom that may never get over the lid of the pot should be snipped off. Also, good idea to keep blue/red light shining under the canopy?

I would cut the bottom out, but wait another week or 2. Light under canopy does nothing but make leaves turn towards it. I would remove them, and put them overhead if needed. Only tops of leaves will benefit from. Light.

Plant 1 exploded this week. It created a lot of happiness, haha. I feel like i need to trim it. Plant two kinda slowed growth significantly, though the beginning of buds continued to form. They had a day of heat stress, all day about 85, little air. both seem to grow more when the lamp moves up an inch or two. Have used nutes twice in past week. once then water, then again, Used tiger bloom just last night on for first time

Used a little more fertilizer. plants are a little close to the light, want more light for lower colas but i feel like i have to keep it low enough for the top cola Most importantly, after these pictures, was able to nearly seal the space but installed a 4 inch intake fan and a 4" outtake fan w/ filter! hoping that keeps em healthy. Hoping plant 1s buds catch up with its growth Plant want is 2'6" and plant 2 is 2'1.25"

They suffered some heat stress over thanksgiving. All the leaves were down, but they shot back up after a few hours of being watered. Really hopping these buds start to fill in. Biggest issue to me is the central kolas being way taller than the rest, limiting the intensity of light i can give to the rest of the kolas. too late to change anything right?

Plant 2 ready for harvest based off trichomes. Ended up drying a little quickly, in a week. Harvested it about an hour after the light came on..smh. After drying had 42 grams for plant 2. Smoke seems to be a bit inconsistent between buds. some puffs more harsh than others.

realized i pulled plant 2 a week or two too early. Plant 1 still holding on. still seems 50%+ of the trichomes are glassy. hopefully by next weekend itll be all ready to pull. buds are starting to get dense. skinny new buds coming from the top. plant seems to be drinking water more slowly. the main stalk is starting to lean as the buds get heavier.

A fine strain i think. I pulled the first plant a couple weeks too early so i didn't get a proper judge on it. still, enjoyed what i had from it. Seemed to induce some munchies. 2nd plant is curing. dried it for a week. perhaps it could've gone another week but i lost my patience a bit. i hope for it to be better. expect it to. happy with results given some of my mistakes.
