Unfortunately, due to my own negligence, two of the seeds failed to sprout through. I am using a new medium (coco coir / perlite), as I usually just go for light mix, but I understand that coco can give growers more control over their plant's nutrient uptake.
With two empty pots, I have now germed two Pumpkin Spice from Sensi Research, which you can check out on my other diary :)

So, it seemed that one of the Malibu OG was stunted, despite a week of nutrients, it just seemed to be struggling. After removing it, I could see that the roots were not very strong at all.
I decided to replace it with a Screwdriver OG that I had germinated as a back-up, just in case. This seems to be struggling with some phosphorous deficiencies since transplanting, but I'll keep an eye on it.

Had some healthy growth since the Advanced Nutrients cycle started.
Slightly upped the Voodoo Juice as recommended on the AN Feeding Cycle for Coco growers.
Will be doing some defoliation, taking off the bottom two nodes in the next day or two.
Looking to top and mainline in the following week, as long as they respond to the stress well.
Okay so coco is not soil. Nor is it to be watered like soil. I grow in coco. Your issue is ph. When growing in coco you never need to transplant. Start in final Potter. It is hydro growing in a potter or bag. Your issue is the ph is wrong in new coco. You can not over water coco. Coco is heavy irrigation. So your not treating your coco right. It's not soil. First thing you need to do is go flush all your coco plants till run off ph is 5.8. Then apply new feed with a cal mag. Your ph is the issue for sure. By doing this your plants will start to thrive. I soak, test, and feed every other day on my coco grows. You may have to daily till your ph test low right when you start. You can reuse coco 2 or 3 times. I am not guessing anything. I know exactly what your issue is. So any soil answers you get are dead wrong. Coco is not soil. Sadly not many know how to properly use it right. They do exactly like you are and miss out on a ton of potential. Happy to help you get on the right track. Like I said I am a highly experienced coco grower. Glad to give you the right information. 👍
Some good, healthy growth this week with some increase in height across all plants in this tent. I have noticed that upping the dosage of the AN nutes, as recommended, has been a reason for this increase.
All the plants have had the bottom 3 nodes removed now, and I will be mainlining (topping the 4 tops on each plant) over the next week.
Eventually got round to flipping this to flower, really excited to see how the AN flowering nutes get to work on these!
Switched to Coco Bloom A&B and added some Bud Candy. Will stop with Voodoo Juice & B52 next week and start adding Big Bud Coco.
Did an extra bit of defoliation around the bottom of the main stems in anticipation of flipping to flower.
Wish I could have been more attentive over Xmas to fold into the SCROG, as the canopy is not as even as I would like, but it is my first time using this technique.

Flipped nearly 2 weeks ago, pistils and bud sites starting to show. The Screwdriver OG on the right is really starting to stretch now, not surprising from the genetics.
Have started adding Big Bud Coco as well now.
No deficiencies showing, really impressed with Advanced Nutrients, it has been the easiest grow so far.

The tops are getting pretty close to the light and I can't raise it much more... hygrometer is reading about 31 degrees 5cm from the light so I think it should be ok.
Nutrients are the same as last week, not much has changed except the buds are getting fatter :)

Trying flawless finish for the first time, hoping it will help with this rushed flowering stage.
Really unfortunate to have to cut this one short, but some things in life are out of our control...

Decent strain, not the favourite I have grown so far and wasn't the short indica I was expecting. This might have been due to me moving the light too high and causing it too stretch though.
Compared to the Pumpkin Spice, I found this strain to be pretty average when it comes to the terp profile in the jars post-harvest.
