Preparing the necessary equipment and tools, getting the seeds, let's get started. Soaking for a day. Tap water, settled, 120 ppm + Simplex Mass at 1 drop per 300ml.

🌰 The seeds have been resting in the solution for almost a day, now they go into improvised containers for germination. Some strains with 1-2 seeds have already started to show "tails."
All varieties follow the same super simple scheme:
1. Soak paper towels in the seed solution and wring them out.
2. Place the seeds between two paper towels.
3. Cover with lids (unused trays for small pots) and put in a warm place.
4. Done, you are amazing, now we wait for the roots.

After another day, I planted all the material in small pots of 0.29L - substrate coco + perlite.

Germination 3 out of 3. The little plants will stay in the main box with other cup participants for a bit, then move to a separate 60x60.

mutantfarmer The beauties are feeling great and showing active growth rates. Over the week, they received a couple of waterings with readings of 450-500ppm, 5.7-5.8 pH. I started measuring the yield on the last watering, and it showed 630ppm, 5.6pH for DC#1, and around 700, 5.5-5.6 for #2 and #3. I watered all of them with a solution to reach 500ppm, 5.8pH.
At the end of the first week, I chose DC#1 as the best specimen and selected it for the cup, as it showed no signs of imbalance and didn't even curl its leaves from low pH, unlike sister #2.
The selected plant moved to its permanent habitat:
Tent: MarsHydro 70x70x160
Lighting: 2x55w Aliexpress Noname + 30w Siyanie Red Booster 660nm.
Substrate / growing system: Terra Aquatica Waterfarn charged with a mix of coconut + perlite.

mutantfarmer DC #1 after moving to a separate box on Waterfarm is still on manual watering like the other residents of the greenhouse. It shows a slight light deficiency, with stretched internodes, currently under one 55W light, thinking of adding a second lamp in the coming days.
Two more plants continue their growth in the box with the plants outside the cup.
Throughout the week, the plant received watering with a solution of 450-530ppm 5.8pH. At the end of the week, I started adding CalMag to the solution. The yield wasn't measured.

mutantfarmer The bud is actively growing despite the troubles with the conditions, and it's showing a good appetite. I added a second light, totaling 110w, and soon I'll add 30w of red strips from Siyanie Red Booster 660nm. This week, the plant lost its top, so we're expecting massive side branches. I think next week I'll turn on the automatic watering in the mornings and evenings, and gradually transition the plant to a non-stop watering mode.
As a result of discovering an issue with the pH meter (check my report on Drunken Bastard x Freakshow), and new measurements, it turned out that the pH level reached 5.2. After a few flushes, I managed to bring it up to 5.7. I also noticed a nutrient deficiency, and I gradually raised the solution concentration from 550-600 to 650-700ppm.

Unfortunately, DC#1 couldn't handle the twice-a-day 3-minute auto-watering and ended up overwatered. I should have given it more time to develop its root system. For comparison, DC#3 is getting hand-watered twice a day with the same concentrations. I'll give it some time to recover and strengthen, and then I'll switch to a more careful approach.
Throughout the week, we were using a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.9-6.2pH and 650-710ppm.

mutantfarmer DC#1 #CannapediaGrowersCup4th was struggling a lot after the transplant because it didn't have time to develop its roots. Filling the entire substrate volume in the remaining veg time will be a bit harder. So I decided to do an emergency transplant. I put the plant into a 1L FloraFlex pot. I took the plant out of the system, rinsed the roots, and transplanted it into a new airy mix of coco + perlite. This is where it will spend its life until the end. After the transplant, DC#1 hasn't received any watering.
DC#3 is growing without any issues; I think I'll take a couple of clones from it soon, and then I'll send the plant into flowering. For a week, the plant has been receiving a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 670-730ppm, twice a day.

DC#3 took a clone, topped the upper colas down to 8, left the lower branches for now. I might take some clones from those too.

I haven't been working with the plants and reports due to "reloading" my greenhouse.
I lowered the nutrient concentrations and for a week they received a solution of G.H.Feeding Grow + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 650ppm, every 2-3 days.

DC#3 - in the black outside the cup. More acidic, hashy-herbaceous, pungent, slightly earthy. It's branched in structure with an average - short internodal distance.
I trimmed all the excess from both, stretched the colas to one level. After that, I gave them a couple more days of veg, switched to 12/12, and changed the nutrients from Grow to Hybrids.
G.H.Feeding Hybrids + pH Down, with readings of 5.8-6.2pH and 850ppm, once a day.

DC#1 #CannapediaGrowersCup4th на своем пришлось пути чуть пострадать от перелива, пересадок, легкой передозировки... но успешно пережить каждое испытание, и дойти до финала. В общем - хороший устойчивый сорт способный быстро отходить от стресса. Соцветия ароматные, плотные, равномерно покрываются сахаром. В момент тримминга накатал хороший кусочек гаша и затестил, в связи с чем получил прекрасный расслабляющий эффект, позволивший как следует сконцентрироваться на фотосессии.
Аромат на харвесте - дизельный, с нотами настоявшегося черного чая.
