First I put the seeds into a glass of water and then used peper towel method. After three days they sprouted but the Auto Orange Bud after had difficulties getting rid of the shell of the seed which has hindered its growth, affectionately I calle it Stephen Hawking
Auto Orange Bud's a bit behind of the other 2. Auto NL and Auto Shiva Skunk seem be fine. I was away for about a week and had to water them with clay stacks and fortunately when I came bak everything was ok
Everything continues to be on track. Auto Orange Bud seems to be recovering and hope catches up with Auto NL and Auto Shiva Skunk. Keeping an eye on the ph which seems to be a little off (5.9). Tonight it is time to feed them so I' pour a solution between 6.8 and 7 hoping that the pH will be in the range of 6 and 7.
So far it all looks like a walk in the park. I've been careful not to overwater and keep the ph under control. Fortunately the Orange Bud Auto is developing well although she seems to be a week behind Northern Lights Auto and Shiva Skunk Auto so I am feeding her like she is 3 weeks old and not 4.
So finally got the runoff PH on 6.2 and a PPM roughly at 850. Was a bit worried about some yellow spots on a few leaves but didn't spread. Other than that everything looks in ok and both Northern Lights and Shiva Skunk are already showing signs of flowering (little white hairs are coming out).
So this week I took the plunge and did some pruning since I've read you can do it up to the second week of flowering without affecting growth. Fingers crossed. The RH was getting out of hand with a range up to 73% which worried me but now is below 60, I guess I have to water a little less. Very excited to see how the buds are forming.
OB has had a growth spurt this last week as she has entered in full puberty. The other two sisters NL and SK are looking good too, they've formed a lot of buds. Next time for sure will try lst.
This week the Orange Bud has stretched out impressively and surpassed its sisters in height I guess it's quite usual her being a sativa vs her indica cousins. RH is more under control at around 55%. Northern Lights is performing great and looks like if I had done an lst which is not the case. Shiva Skunk however is the one producing the most tempting buds. looking forward to the next weeks.
Managing the RH below 60 has been quite a challenge. Don't know if buds have the correct size or density as expected in a ninth week? Your comments are welcome...
So finally got the RH at 50%. Had to start watering more yesterday all three of them had droopy leaves, watered each 1.5 lts and now they are thriving. Buds are getting thicker but all trichomes are 100% crystal clear so no harvesting yet
My babes are in their 13th week and some trichomes are starting to turn milky so I guess this weekend I'll have to cut them down. It's going to be sad to kill them but what the heck when I see those buds and colas all I can think of is flyin high in a Brooklyn sky...
