I'm back again after being out of town for six days. I doubt the Purplematic girl missed me, but she looks great! The flowers are a deep, DEEP purple, and her senescence has progressed, resulting in pretty purple/yellow leaves.
I had a first look at her trichomes, and she is getting ready. Most trichomes are cloudy, and I even see an amber one here and there.
Won't be long now :)

We're at the end of the fifth week of flower, and this grow is almost at the end.
She is fading beautifully, and the trichomes are ripening. I would love to let her go another week to watch her senescence, but I need to move the light from this tent to the photo tent since I'm running out of space there, and this Kingbrite light has a much lower profile.

could it be that the shape of the leaves look almost the same?
coincidentally through the same genetics?

could it be because of the light?
@Grow_with_Cookie, Thank you :) You're correct that the leaf shape is very similar, but they feel completely different. The Gorilla girl has soft leaves, while the Purplematic girl has very stiff leaves. I have never seen leaves this stiff, and they are even quite "scratchy" to the touch.
Nice Diary, very interesting to me seeing all your strategies and regiments. I didn't notice you had more grows up after the summer until today. Excellent! Excited to follow along and see how these ladies turn out.
