Both seeds popped in about 2 days. Planted directly to soil, using 5 gal fabric pots. Temps were hot sitting around 80 degrees in the day. Did my best to keep cool but had some struggles
Started LST. Using clips and ties along with some tomato hoops (haven’t used before but seems like it will work). Threw in my wife’s aloe plant which was starting to die on her desk, hope I can revive it.
FIM ‘d both, started on 10% of nutrient dosage. Seeing how they react l, will ramp up over the next 3 weeks to 25% strength. Aloe plant not responding well…..
Another week down, no issues. Some more LST and bending, have the shape I want on the critical, another week on the jack and it should be the same. Flipping to flower soon based on room. Trimmed off a lower branch, trying to clone it which I always fail at. Aloe plant starting to show some green and coming back to life!
Flipped to flower this week. Anticipating some stretch challenges but hopefully I can manage. Chopped off a funny angled bottom branch and gave water cloning it a shot. Seems to be doing well so far. Starting some big bloom nutes at about 50% strength
Flowering week 2. Pistils really showing, nice stretch going. So far pretty uneventful of a grow. Gonna have to rig up some automatic watering with some work travel on the schedule next week….
