northernMike Round two for the photoperiod. The Alien Tech(Prism seeds) didn't work out so well. Strawberry Cough from Canuk seeds took it's place. 15 days old today. I have this plant in the 4x4 tent under the UF 4000 from Unit Farm(400watts, plug it in and grow). I'll be keeping it under this light for a few weeks of VEG. and then I'll move it into the 3x3 tent with the UFS 3000 from Unit Farm for the rest of it's life. This is a great little light that I have had amazing success with in the past. I'm hoping to get the gram per watt this time, I've come close a couple times, but this time I have that feeling, you know the one, so let's get GROWING😬😵😎... Just thought I'd share a few pics, these are the last few days at camp. It was getting cold, you can see the frost on the ground, so that's it until next year, hard water fishing coming up😀..

northernMike Under the UF 4000 from Unit Farm, weighing in at a hefty 6 inches tall and 22days old, THE STRAWBERRY COUGH a SATIVA dominant strain. No couch lock here, just smoke and go, like the energizer bunny😃..I transplanted on the 13th with a little sprinkle of Great White into a mix of soil and pro-mix 60/40 with just a lite watering. I've been keeping the light approx. 40''+ above this plant and the plant is happy. This light is powerful and super bright so I'm keeping a big distance between it and the plant for now and she is staying short with tight node spacing. A manifold is up and coming in the immediate future, so stay tuned. Thanks for stopping by👊..

northernMike Hey everyone, Thanks for stopping by.. On Fri. I topped(started a manifold) and transplanted this plant into a 7gal.(28L) fabric pot and moved her into the 3'x3' tent under the Unit Farm UFS 3000, her new home until harvest day. I have the light hanging around 30'' above the plant for now and all is good. The feed remains the same, Emerald Harvest, following the late veg feed chart with a plain watering in between, she's not drinking very much right now, but I expect that to change as soon as the shock of having a major haircut wears off.. See you in a week..

northernMike Under the Unit Farm UFS 3000, Strawberry Cough.. Not much to say, she's growing slow for now, so I only watered with feed once this week. She's staying healthy and starting to grow out, I'm thinking 16 cola's with this one if things grow O.K. So stay tuned... The light- Supplied by Unit Farm, The UFS 3000 with UV and IR, 200 watts plug and play.

northernMike This plant is staying healthy and happy, but it's not growing very fast at all, which makes it tough to train.I'm thinking about flipping to flower a little sooner than I wanted to, just so I can get some stretch, so I can do some training and spread the plant out a bit. I topped each end so I'll have eight bud sights on each side, sweet sixteen if all goes according to plan.😵..Figured with the extra room I'd plant some veggies, got some romaine lettuce, giant red peppers, red onions , some dill and some thyme. The lettuce popped within 4 days and some dill popped this morning.. Growing under the UFS 3000 from Unit Farm. This light has 200 watts and comes with U.V and I.R, great light for a smaller space👌..

northernMike Sad day😥 I had some issues with the exhaust fan(quit working) and had to shut the tent down. The plant went to a new home in a south facing window( my daughters house) where the smell is not a problem. This plant was very small and not growing very fast at all, I think that I started the manifold a little late and the shock was too much for this plant, so maybe it was meant to be, but I will keep an eye on it and post a couple pics when harvest day rolls around. Can't win them all I guess😑..

@Mrs_Larimar, Had to close up for the winter, the R.V is winterized and put away😢. The next time on the lake I'll be fishing through 8-10 inch holes in the ice, lots of fun when the fish are biting and it's not -30c. Where I live I'm surrounded by lakes and rivers, more water than land almost, just beautiful country. Have yourself a great day!!!

I grew this strain many years ago! I really enjoyed it!

@DEVS_GENETICS, Topped and transplanted on Fri.😵, gave her a good haircut, left the 5th node and removed the rest. Feels so weird to chop such a healthy plant, but the end results should be worth it😑..

It was hard to like this one for two reasons 😔 I hate to see a plant lost, at least it will live on at your daughter's house The second reason is the Jets thing 😆 🤣 😂 GO NINERS !!!! 😀😍
northernMike
northernMikecommented3y ago
@Cyrusdavirus,😂 Thanks, I dug the plant out of the 7gal. fabric pot and put it in a 1gal. or so plastic container to make it a little more managable. Gotta go the JETS are playing right now, giving Anaheim a run for their money!! GO JETS GO!!! OH Ya, what's a NINER??😅😅
