This is my real first grow, I am still growing the other plant but it is just an experiment at this point, I am not expecting much. I am going to do everything better this grow are see how it goes. Looking ahead of the other plant at the end of week 1 so I would say its going good so far.
This plant is looking much better than the other one, I am seeing some nice growth and am taking all your suggestions. Hopefully going to start LST next week and get some more nice growth. This plant will go through way less stress than the first one, so it will be interesting to see how this one grows.
Have just been watering with PHed water. This plant is growing so much better than my last plant; I am seeing lots of growth, so I started to LST at the end of the week.

Top dressed it with some Dr. Earth, and she is growing strong. I am continuing with the LST and have moved the ties around many times as the stems are growing very fast. I clipped a few small leaves off there and others but nothing crazy. Started Pre-Flowering at the end of the week, so next week will be the first week of flowering.
Gave her some cal-mag at the beginning of the week, LST is working very nicely, and she is stretching out. Bud sites are starting to form, and she looks very healthy.

The stretching is slowing down, I think I might have caused too much stress with premature defoliation, but the plant still looks great. I top-fed her again with Dr. Earth and have not noticed any deficiencies. She takes a lot of water and is putting all her energy into building the buds at this point.
I am starting the flush so no more nutrients, just watering every day. I cut off most of the yellow and dead leaves, I need to figure out what went wrong so I do not make the same mistake again. Will be ready for harvest very soon.
I was not expecting that, 85 grams is more than I was predicting. Definitely a complete 180 from my first grow that yielded 12 grams. The bud is currently curing and I can't wait to try it out.
Best advice I can give that probably helped me the most was finally breaking down and buying a PAR meter. They aren't cheap, but dialing in very specific light intensities fixed the catastrophe that was my first grow. I also learned not to trust the manufacturers PPFD chart after that. Also to save money get the Photone app, it uses your phones camera to approximate the PAR output of your light. It actually isn't too far off from my PAR meter. Getting your PAR settings dialed in for sure will be huge.
