Bannana x purple punch / west coast og

Kmikaz420 And there you go, the 2 little ones have evolved well with good vigor (the Banana Purple is growing 10cm a day, it's just crazy to watch!!) The West Coast OG is a bit slower to start... You can see in the photos that I placed the starter cubes of the plants on a 15x15x15 cube and now we just have to wait for the roots to be well established in both cubes. Generally, during this time, the plant doesn't grow much, but once established, they grow right before your eyes. 😉 There you have it, that's about it for me, everything is going as it should.

Kmikaz420 And there you go, the plants have really taken off in size (the banana x purple is really growing strong, the trunk and lateral branches are developing very well in size and thickness) I can't wait to see it in flowering. The west coast OG, as I mentioned last week (it's taking longer to develop since there's more sativa than in the banana) but it will come (I've got time ;)

Kmikaz420 And here’s the pre-flowering update, not much to report this week, I just added a ring (so I can tie the branches if needed). Otherwise, the banana x purple punch is going to change location for the rest of the flowering (I don’t understand why, but the plant started growing above the lamp (90 cm in height is usually enough for almost all autos 😉). But not for her, the beginning of flowering is going to take a bit longer on the west coast OG, but the plant is growing with beautiful branching, it’s really nice to see. As for the banana, it has a pretty weird structure and way of developing, but I think it’s going to be beautiful too (it’s also starting to change color). That’s all for this week, friends!

Kmikaz420 And there you go, the flowering has really started on the 2 plants. The banana x purple is a bit ahead of the west coast og, but it has also started well (and I find it super beautiful in shape, structure;) So, nothing new otherwise, except that in 2 days I’ll start flushing the sherbet (the big one behind the banana) and once I’ve done that, the west coast og will join the banana x purple so I can close the tent to use CO2 gas (for my last grow fast bud and last grow of the year, I’m going to try to do everything I can to have a harvest worthy of the name;)

Kmikaz420 Hello everyone, as you can see in the photos, my 2 beauties (are becoming more and more beautiful ;) I'll start with the west coast og which has finished its stretch (I hope ;) it's become a beautiful plant 1.20 meters tall, well branched out and with bud development every 2..4 cm. I think it's going to turn into a very nice plant as it’s going (stay tuned) The banana x purple punch keeps surprising me more and more. For an indica, it’s growing pretty tall, and even the secondary branches are almost the same height as the apex. The branches are really sturdy, and it’s producing buds all along the plant!!! The structure of the plant is also amazing (I've never had plants that grow this way; it looks like it's making mini branches where beautiful long buds are attached ;) I’m really, really looking forward to the flowers gaining weight. I think this plant is going to be magnificent (and with a harvest worthy of the name :) Great to finish this long grow beautifully. I know it’s only been 3 days since I posted the last photos, but I had to show you the transformation that the banana is undergoing. The structure of this plant is really interesting with its big branches that almost catch up to the apex in height and that have a production of buds next to each other (I also increased the EC of the 2 plants from 1.6 EC to 2 EC, and for now, the plants like it (no burning on the leaves, etc.). I also increased the CO2 injections (1700 PPM of CO2), and of course, my sanlights are set to maximum. 2x sanlight evo4 80w 255 watts x2 = 510 watts in my small tent of 70x70. I know it’s a lot of light, but I think I’ll get good results with all this. 😉 There you go, my friends, I wish you a good Sunday and a great start to the week!

Kmikaz420 Another week has passed without issues for the 2 plants. The banana changes shape every time I open the tent^^ really a spectacular plant to watch grow, but it is very, very nutrient-hungry (usually I never exceed an EC of 2, but I saw that the buds were stalling a bit). So I increased my dose of P.K and the plant loved it (the next day it started gaining weight again). It has 10 days left with nutrients before the flush week. As for the West Coast OG, everything is happening a bit more slowly *it’s about a week behind compared to the banana*. My only regret is not having done anything to stop its climb towards the sky ;) it has grown too close to the lights, which is a shame because the apex bud is taking a hit, but fortunately, it has produced a bunch of other beautiful white buds that are just stunning, really a bright white! As for watering, it’s getting the same treatment as its friend, and for now, everything is going well... there you go, we’ll see each other very soon for the last week, friends... take care of yourselves!

Kmikaz420 I'm just quickly passing by to say that everything is going great for the moment (it's simple, I've never had a plant this easy to grow!!) Aside from watering with the right dose of nutrients (especially the banana, which is very hungry ;) Otherwise, I haven't had to do anything at all (I had put a ring as a precaution in case I needed to spread the branches, but even that is unnecessary considering the development of these two magnificent plants (personally, I'm really liking the West Coast OG, it has an amazing smell and great crystallization (even though it still has 17 days with nutrients) there you go, thank you for your loyalty, friends, have a great weekend everyone 😉

Kmikaz420 The end is near for the banana x purple punch (I just gave it its first flush ;) It's a really easy plant to grow, it can handle high EC levels, and it doesn't have too many leaves (easy to trim ;) I think even a beginner can get very good results with this strain, you just need to feed it properly (no need for LST or any other technique, just give it enough space to grow (upwards as well as for the roots = big roots = big fruits ;) For the WEST COAST OG, it's the same, it seems like they're on autopilot (I have nothing to do except water them) I initially put in 2 rings (a technique I like when growing a plant for the first time, just in case I need to spread the branches, etc.) but we almost wouldn't need them, just like with the banana, you just need to give it enough space for the roots and enough room (width and height) and good nutrients at the right dose, and normally you should get the same result as me ;) I must say the west coast has a beautiful smell and the photos speak for themselves when it comes to crystallization :) That's it for this week, friends, I'll stop here, and we'll meet again for the banana harvest (the west coast needs about 10 more days before the flush)

Kmikaz420 Here’s the last day for the banana x purple punch, which I gave a big flush to ;) the colors are just crazy!! But I hope the plant won't taste like it smells (it stinks like crazy!!) And now we get to my darling, the west coast og!!! IT'S JUST THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STRAIN IN MY EYES!!!! by far, seriously look at the photos!!! It's insane and the smell is really earthy kush with a citrusy return!!! You have to love... adore it!! For me, it's the variety from fast bud that I like the most!! 1=easy to grow 2=almost no leaves and no need for LST or anything. 3=JUST MAGNIFICENT CRYSTALLIZATION 4=MAGNIFICENT KUSH SMELL 5=DIDN'T YOU ORDER IT YET? YOU'RE KIDDING;) 5=FOR A PLANT READY IN 9 WEEKS, THE YIELD IS REALLY NICE AND THE BUDS ARE HARD AS ROCK!!! BIG BIG SURPRISE WITH THIS VARIETY!!! REALLY

Kmikaz420 Well, where do I start? Maybe with the ease and speed of this magnificent plant that gives a superb weed in just 8 weeks, very crystalline with a lovely sweet smell. But (personally, I don't smell the 🍌, but rather a typical purple punch scent; we'll see maybe when smoked ;) The plant doesn't require too many nutrients, but you can give it a good dose if you want. Personally, I rarely exceed 1500 ppm. Trimming is easy to do given the few leaves. So, we'll meet again in 10 days for the west coast og, and at the same time, I'll post the dry weight of 2 plants as well as the dry weight of all the plants from my last grow to wrap up the diary and start a brand new one (spoiler alert: mac & crack, and during this grow, I'm going to make pollen to start my own seed line..
