October 11th - She germinated on October 11th and was planted into a 3 gallon pot filled with Sohum Living Soil.
October 13th - the seedling has sprouted. Stay tuned!
Week one is in the books and so far so good. I’m happy with her growth rate so far. I gave her her first feeding of Recharge tonight but I won’t start actual nutrients for another couple of weeks.
Week 2 went flawlessly. Due to her vigorous growth I felt comfortable FIMing her on day 12. In the two days since she has continued growing vigorously. It didn’t seem to phase her at all.
Another strong week! She should start going into flower soon. I’ll probably hit her with a light dose of veg nutes later this week to prepare for the stretch.
This one is a long vegger. As of day 28 she is just starting to show preflowers. It’s a nice change of pace from autos that start flowering by day 21. I expect this XXL auto to live up to its name!!
This is one definitely a long vegger! She’s 35 days old and I’m only just starting to see preflowers. I can see where she gets the XXL in her name from. This one is going to be a beast.
This girl finally started to flower around day 37 or 38. I did some light defoliation to help expose bud sites and gave her a light feeding of grow nutes. I’m really excited to see her flowers start coming in!
The defoliation I did last week worked beautifully. Most of her bud sites have stretched up towards the light and her canopy is looking nice and even. She should produce a bunch of large colas! She’s definitely deserving of the XXL in her name. This girl is an absolute UNIT, especially considering she’s only in a 3 gallon pot! Next week I will stop giving her grow nutrients and start introducing some bloom nutrients. Stay tuned!
With every day that goes by I become more and more impressed with
this plant. She is the largest auto I have ever grown and I am blown away by the sheer number of bud sites she has. She’s just SO vigorous and healthy!! Her flowers are starting to come in fast now and I’m just starting to see some trichome production. I can’t wait to see what her flowers look like once she’s a bit further along!
She’s stacking beautifully! I just love watching her weekly progress. I expect this will be one of the better yields I’ve ever gotten off an auto. Trichome production has started to pick up over the last week as well.
