This will be a wild ride for sure! I've wanted to grow this strain for some time now and finally have an opportunity to see what I can do with it, and I've germinated two so double the fun! "Auto Skywalker Haze has a very pungent and fruity aroma! The incredibly firm and frosty buds give off a strong lemony, yet sweet, haze-like scent. The citrus and haze notes are clearly dominant. The combination of the fruity, sour, pungent citrus-dominant terpene profile with the more pungent, spicy haze character makes this a strain for real enthusiasts. The buds are completely covered in trichomes and in addition to providing a high cannabinoid profile. It also gives a true taste explosion. The terpenes are in abundance and they provide an exceptionally strong fruity haze taste. This Sativa dominant cannabis strain is known for strong and sturdy plants that can take a beating. Most ladies grow into large plants with a real Sativa appearance. These phenotypes can grow quite tall with wide and long branching, thin leaves and elongated Sativa buds. These phenotypes usually take a little longer to mature. The flowers, which are completely covered in crystals, may have a tendency to foxtail slightly, but that doesn't take away from its true beauty. These buds also become a lot more compact than you might expect from the Sativa appearance. There are also phenotypes that remain just a little more compact and tend more towards the hybrid side. These mostly Skywalker-dominant phenotypes grow very hard and compact buds, sometimes reaching as thick as a Coke bottle. All plants have a good flower-to-leaf ratio and trimming the plants is relatively quick. Some plants can even be picked completely by hand and are ready really quickly. The small sugar leaves are also completely full of resin and trichomes, so you don't necessarily have to be very precise. The flowers can grow nicely together and completely fill the branches from top to bottom with sticky buds. Most Sativa-dominant plants usually have a little more space between the buds. Outdoors, Auto Skywalker Haze takes an average of between 12-15 weeks to fully mature." ** **Credit- Dutch Passion.com ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~ Grown in 15L Gronest geotextile pots filled with Mother Earth Grow 70/30 Coco/Perlite with Xtreme Gardening Mykos added. ~ Seeds were germinated directly in the medium without any 'pre-soak' ~ Seeds were planted three days before the Full Moon (Waning Gibbons) and sprouted within 72hrs, on the Full Moon. ~ Feeding will be by Lotus Nutrients (first time using) ~ 24hr light cycle while germinating ~ 20/4 light cycle after first leaves appear. ~ 4x8 Gorilla Tent ~ HLG 650R w/ 30w Supplemental UVA Bar controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. (also a HLG Blackbird for additional side lighting if necessary) ~ Supplemental co2 controlled by an AutoPilot APC 8200 co2 controller ~ AC Infinity Cloudline T6 with Controller 67 using a Terrabloom 6x24" carbon filter ~ De-Humidifier and Humidifier when needed. ~ 14k BTU IdealAir portable A/C unit plumbed into tent for temperature control. ~ BlueLab testing instruments ~ Two Hurricane 18" oscillating fans ~ Two 6" Clip-on fans ~ Two 10" floor mounted fans ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Update: 10/21- The girls have just about two weeks on the books now and are doing fantastic! Both of these ladies are tall and strong with their 4th leaf sets emerging along with side branching beginning to sprout. Their color and vigor is perfect and I can see by their wide node spacing that they're probably going to be 'leggy'. Yesterday was a 'dry-out' day and all I did was refill the humidifier which I turned down to 60%RH as their water amounts have increased and their pots are contributing to the overall RH in the tent which I'm keeping in the mid 60's right now. Today they received a good feed of 0.7g of well water with 0.4ml of Dutch Pro's Silica Von Liebig’s Special added, then enough Lotus Nutrients 'Grow' added to bring the EC to 1.2, that was then ph'd to 6.1 @ 74℉. I gave 1/4 of it in their drip pans so that their pots could suck it up from the bottom as the medium at the bottom was extremely dry, the remainder was given through the top. After feeding they both had runoff in their pans which I removed after waiting 15min. and checked its PH which was 6.3 @ 73℉. 10/23- I didn't water them today as they were saturated yesterday and I'll wait until their medium dries to the point of just being slightly moist before they're watered/fed again so I just checked and made sure their humidifier, which is now set to 60%RH, was topped off with water. Both are really beginning to take off now with noticeable increases in size seen daily! 😎👍❤️ 10/25- The girl's have had two days off from watering so that their medium dried out sufficiently which I always check with a soil hygrometer to insure against over watering. Today I watered both with .75g of well water with 0.4ml/g of Dutch Pro's Silica Von Liebig’s Special added, that was then ph'd to 6.0 @ 74℉. They both are growing like wild and have a beautiful dark green color to them. They have their 5th leaf sets almost fully emerged now, with the sixth set just starting to show, as well as multiple side branching on both girls! They both have wide node spacing and are going to be really tall unless I begin some LST on them soon! 10/27- I held off watering/feeding today as they had some weight to them when lifted. I'll be giving them a heavy feed tomorrow! I switched out my AC unit for the tent which was positioned on the outside of the tent for a smaller unit that I placed in the tent. The other unit had its cold air directed into the tent via a 4" hose and it was not enough airflow to keep the tent temperatures in the sweet spot. The smaller A/C is having no problem keeping the air temp's at 78℉ with the HLG's now set to 55% power. The #1 is now pushing 8" tall and has some incredibly long fingers on her shade leaves! I noticed that the #1 was starting to droop and after doing a quick check of her medium I saw that she was thirsty so I gave her roughly 0.5L of well water ph'd to 6.1 and within 2 hours she had perked up!. The # 2 is doing fantastic, while not quite as big as the #1 she's definitely happy and healthy! ~ Thank you so very much for following along on this grow...
