Decided to expirement with FIMing and topping these Autoflowers. Although I don't expect a direct comparison since I started these from seed. Purple Punch #1 FIM'd the 5th node set Purple Punch #2 Untouched Purple Punch #3 Topped the 5th node set Northern lights is starting to come along nice too will be leaving it untouched. All will be SCRoG'd later in growth.

They grew like crazy this week and reached the trellis. Now, I have started stretching them outward. The auxillary branches beefed up on Purple Punch# 1&3 after being FIM'd and topped, respectively. These two were also the first to reach the trellis and have a wider footprint than Purple Punch #2 which was left untouched. Again, these are from seed so I don't expect a direct comparison between the techniques. But they don't see to be stunted at this point from the toppings.

I have kept tucking the new growth outward. It's filling up fast. Wishing I would have left a bit more room between them. Live and learn. Starting to smell a bit now too! I started giving the plants silica this week as well.

Pre flower this week. Defoliated a bit to let them breathe especially where plants meet in the middle. Continued to tuck the new growth outward, and spread out bud sites evenly.

Defoliated to open up some of the lower bud sites to light. They have been stacking nicely. So far it looks like Purple Punch #2 that was left untopped is producing slightly larger buds. I had to raise the light a few inches midweek due to slight burn on a couple the top leaves. I have had a little bit of tip burning too on the Purple Punch plants, so I gave them Just water with silica for last two days. Hopefully this won’t continue to worsen. Not sure at this point. Any suggestions?

Watching buds get bigger. Leaf tips seem to be the same as last week; back on the regular feeding since it doesn’t seem to be getting any worse. I feel like I got three different phenotypes on the purple punch as they all have different looks but all are producing well. Happy for what’s to come. Top-dressed last Sunday with Fox Farm Happy Frog and bit of dried molasses. I raised out edges of SCRoG to account for the rise in the center. The center under the light had grown about two full inches higher than the edges. Now the canopy is level again. Thanks for everyone’s suggestions and help with my grow so far.💚🤘

Grow baby grow. Just watching colas grow at this point. Not much change this week otherwise. Im going to try increasing the watering for the last few weeks to .5 gallons per plant per day. Northern lights is looking especially frosty. Purple Punch plants are looking great too, each one is expressing it own phenotype.

Merry Christmas everyone, Happy New Year too! Plants starting to fade some. Harvest should be in a couple more weeks. One purple punch is getting really purple.

Happy New Year everyone! Lots of changing in color this week. Especially the Northern Lights plant, which has turned purple and red. This was the second to last week and everything is looking frosty. I will start flushing for the final week.
