Plant grows good. Decided trying topping or fimming. Made a raw cut, whatever comes out is okay.
Day 20:
Plant grew 3 tops after topping/fimming. Good basis for main-lining soon.
Day 21:
Defoliation and LST
Plant adapted good to LST. So next LST and main-lining for two branches and the top.
Day 23:
Broke a branch when adjusting LST. Still have two branches left, I´ll see what I can do with that.
Day 25:
Plant grew first asymetric pair of leafs, maturity starts. Decided how to proceed growing the branches.
After defoliation I started with the main-lining and more LST.
Plant is in final stage of flowering. Maybe 2 weeks untill harvest, so I started flushing the plant. As soon as the trichomes turn into amberish color, harvesting time is due.
Two weeks ago I started flushing the plant. Now the plant is all ripe. All pistils turned into brown, the buds are covered in all white trichomes. I´m waiting for the trichomes to turn into amber color. So far it took more time than expected, but maybe in 1 or 2 weeks harvest is due.
DAY 101:
I decided to harvest half of the plant at the near peak moment of blooming. Wet weight of the buds is 123g.
The rest of the plant I leave to reach amber phase of blooming.
Half of the plant keeps growing and the trichomes are building more and more frosty buds.
HARVEST:
Seven Days of drying process was a little too much, the buds are a little dry.
I put them into the curing jar for the next weeks.
The plant keeps growing fine. More trichomes, more frosty buds. Still no amber color. Maybe soon.
*CURE*
Half of the weed is cured for a week. Smell is developing into aroma.
I smoked some of the weed cured already. The taste is still a little fresh and lemon, typically for the early curing state. When the weed is finally cured, I´ll report again.
Very nice plant. Easy to grow.
DAY 101:
I decided to harvest half of the plant to verify differences in ripeness. Tryed to grow two different highs from the identical plant.
DAY 106:
I started curing the first harvested plant. Dry weight of the buds 34g
DAY 127:
Now the whole plant is harvested. I have two curing jars now, one with the last harvest (nearly smoked up), and another one with 30g material.
I will cure the weed now for some weeks and then add a review.
Different way to approach a grow. I like trying new methods myself. Tried Flming on my Damn Sour but didn't workout and stripped all the nodes except for 3 on the top and she's a cracking looking plant now. She was a long ass flowerer. I hope to god mine is not that long. As she'll be going into my flower tent also. "But my flower tent runs on a 14-10 as I use IR that gives fems extra flowering time.
