Ol_Greg Seeds in soil today with Phlizon 600W LED. Well the seeds made it before the Coco coir. So, instead of waiting for the coco to arrive i decided potting soil it is for this one. Grabbed two pots from the dollar general and a bag of Miracle grow from Walmart. Wish me Luck!!!. Two plants in a 32"x32"x63' grow tent. Filled the pots with soil added about a cup of water, used a sharpie to make an indent in the soil, Dropped the seed in and covered them up. Using tap water.

Ol_Greg starting nutes this week. simple blend pH 6.3. these girls are definitely growing quick. they both have a tiny little smell but you have to be right up on them. Things are coming along well. Getting close to be able to start training these girls a little. I have been rotating the pots daily just to get these babies to move around a little to strengthen up. since lowering the light and naturally they are getting bigger it seems as if the soil is drying out a lot faster than previous weeks. think I'm gonna go nute-nute-water w/calmag they are getting bigger for sure. they had a 20% run off feeding a few days back. most likely some pH water within the next couple days with again 20% run off. bending them over a little this week to introduce a little ittt bit of stress. had a boo boo and lost a leaf on one so I decided to top that one as well since the one side was already open for light since the leaf loss. watching the lower growth over one hour i decided to,do the same to the other one. the lower growth is starying to explode towards the and i now have a bunch of new growths coming towards the light. from the early training i did has them both bent over pretty good this is also helping with getting the light into the center real good

Ol_Greg Day 1: Burned one of the girls over the last week or so. I have moved my light way up to prevent any further. Gonna see how they act and adjust the light according. No signs of flowering yet. they have bushed back up a little since the leaf strip last week. After being away at work all day i was surprised to open the tent and see all the girls full of life. I think by having the light so low i stunted them a little. I think i underestimated the power of these lights a little bcuz they didnt burn my skin at all and i almost touched the leds. There is a couple pics from the one who got burned.... YES I DID APOLOGIZE TO HER multiple times

Ol_Greg Starting off week 6 today. Did a little stripping. tied the girls back down. We may be starting to shoot a couple little hairs out. The next few days i would imagine it will be very evident. This will probably be their last tie down in veg.

Grow Questions

Ol_Gregstarted grow question 7y ago
at what point would you say an auto flower isn't gonna auto flower? At what point would you flip lights? I don't have a problem flipping just need some reassurance. another grow in the same tent is in week 4 so flipping now wouldn't hurt too bad.

Hi @Ol_Greg! I would flip to 12/12 if the breeder's schedule is exceeded while the plant is still in veg. That being said, I think you still have a few weeks to go through the vegetative stage, you did stunt the plant each time you proceeded to topping/defoliation, a simple topping takes approximately 7~10 days to properly recover, so don't worry yet and let her recover before she decides to bloom. If nothing happens in 2-3 weeks, you may consider flipping to 12/12. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

Ol_Greg starting to throw more and more pistils. guess they are gonna autoflower after all. dont think the lower clones i pulled are gonna make it with enough time to root and grow to be anything. most likely pull them for a trim bag. some are starting to throw pistils out of the tops anyway on the clones. with no root deleopment yet

Today wraps up week 3 from seed. Not really getting any stretch which I don't know if its a good thing or not. One seems a little more active than the other. I may have stressed the one out from the beginning. Looks like a couple tips are browning a little. They will be getting a flush this week. I have been wanting to flush since the beginning because I used miracle grow. Next run will be Canna Coco. Ordered some more beans today so they should be here in a few days to a week. Really don't know what to think about this light. It is obviously working but is it enough???? Ordered an experimental light to go with it. Ill update that when the time is right. Should be here Tuesday according to tracking. I have downloaded an app on my phone for a lux meter, however I've heard they are not accurate with red/blue leds so again the light is a mystery. Can't find any real results on the light everywhere I look. So the experimental light is a 150 watt LED flood light (Chinese)(115 actual) warm white 2700k - 3000k. My current light is a 600 watt Phlizon (108 actual). I think once the new light gets here the girls will each get their own light. I just don't know if the healthier girl should get the new light or the smaller girl? They will remain in the same tent so i guess they will both get each (Kind of). I have so many more things to say and questions to ask so I'll just quit while I'm ahead. Hopefully I'll get some explosive growth over the next week and my mind with ease some.

@Ol_Greg, looken good bro though a bit short. that's because you're keepen your lamp at the right distance. these will always stay a bit stocky, which is a good thing. keep doin what you doing man looks good to me. careful on the nutes so early though - and careful with the flush. folks always sayen flush flsuh flush but you can easily kill off your babies like that. just chill and see next week, get some bloom nutes going. and molasses gotta have you some carbs ! 👊

Today is day 1 of week 4. Not a whole lot going on right now. The smaller of the two is starting to bush again. The bigger one is spread out pretty good from training so im trying to get the lower tops up to the rest. They are almost there. I did take all ties off last night to let them recover a little. Depending on how they fill back in will decide when they go back on. They have gone through some stress in their early life so this week we will let them recover a little with calimagic and plain water and tie them down as needed. edit: I decided to go ahead and flush this evening with plain tap water. So the run off was over 3000ppm at the beginning and after flushing which took a good 15 minutes each they are both down around 400ppm. I will let them dry out a few days before returning nutes at a lower dose.

Day 19 upped the nutes a little. Topped and defoliated a little this week to open her up a little. using some solid core electrical wire to tie them down.
