eldruida_lamota Good vibes, family. We're back, and this time I bring you a diary of a cross between Red Hot Cookies from Sweet Seeds x Cookies Gelato from Royal Queen Seeds. It's a 100% feminized variety, and during this first week, I counted 48 hours for the seeds to sprout, 9 out of 9 successfully germinated. For the next 5 days, they're under the Mars Hydro LED at 25/50% power. The substrate is Plagron Royal Mix, one of the best on the market, super fluffy, I love it, 100% recommended. There's not much more I can tell you this week; for now, they've only been given water, but soon I'll start feeding them with a bit of growth nutrients. This time I'll be using a basic range from Advanced Nutrients.

eldruida_lamota Second week of growth for the Red Cookies Gelato, so far everything is going well, humidity at 60/65 and temperature between 22 to 27 at max. 9/9 one of them is looking a bit off, the leaves are kind of strange, I’m going to keep it but I might do a replacement since I germinated 3 more just in case there are issues with any. Other than that, everything is perfect, I hope to do a transplant next week and let them grow a bit more in the final pot, I’ll probably put them all in 7L pots but I haven’t fully decided yet. Good vibes, folks.

eldruida_lamota What's up family, I'm back and we're already in week 3, and the transplant to final pots is approaching. I removed one plant that was the weakest... I didn't think it would make it, and I might take out a few more. So far, I haven't fed anything with nutrients, just water. Soon, with the transplant, I'll start adding something with Advanced Nutrients. I might plant some in 7 liters and others in 11, and I'll end up with 2 cabinets of this strain. Nothing new, everything is going well except for the weak one I removed, which was because it couldn't keep up with the others, and I didn't really like its genetics; it was my own choice, not because it was bad. I'll leave you some pictures, and I'll see you again next week. Good vibes! 💨💨💨

eldruida_lamota What's up family, this project isn't going as well as the last one, but I'm still going to try to push it forward and do my best. The transplant to 7 and 15-liter pots was done, we increased the watering, and soon I'll be feeding with a nitrogen-rich product since the transplant didn't sit well with them and the plant itself is sucking up its nitrogen, which is why the lower leaves are starting to yellow. There is a solution for that, though. Now, to prevent it from getting worse, we need to keep an eye on the watering so it doesn't suffer from excess, because that would just add more problems. I've already started feeding with Advanced Nutrients, the basic line of mono. And that's about it, aside from the nitrogen issue, everything's cool, but I know I need to step up my game. Sending hugs and good vibes, family 💨💨

eldruida_lamota Once again, family, I'm back to update on week 5 and honestly, it's been rough. I didn't expect so many mistakes in a grow, but the transplant didn't sit well with them. They started yellowing at the bottom due to a lack of nutrients. I've already added some N nitrogen to get them green again, but that slowed down their growth a bit. Let's see if we can get them back to 100% and move them to flowering. We'll see how they grow these days. I'll keep giving them some nitrogen-rich water to stimulate growth and get them looking good. I put the humidifier back in; I initially took it out, but I also think they lacked humidity those days, which didn't help either. So far, that's all. I hope I don't make any more mistakes here. Good vibes 💨💨

eldruida_lamota What's up family, we're back to update, so, last week of growth before I switch to flowering this coming week. They've recovered great from the nitrogen deficiency and the transplant; it seemed like they didn't want to grow, but wow, they've really stretched this week. I raised the nutrients a bit; we're still providing the basics from advanced nutrients. I'd love to grow again with Agrobeta because they give incredible results too, but it is what it is. I practiced some low pruning; I also think it's important to encourage the flowers to grow up during flowering and not down, since the lower flowers don't give us much. So far, that's all. I hope no more unexpected issues come up like the transplant or deficiencies. Good vibes, family 💨💨

eldruida_lamota What's up family, we're updating again for another week and it's the first week of flowering, all the plants are stretching out one last time. Since I have various sizes, I decided to set up another tent, and they'll be in 2 tents, one with 150W and another with 100W, all Mars Hydro. I added Big Bud and Bud Candy to the watering doses, so we'll encourage and stimulate the flowering of the plants. The pH is always regulated and kept between 6.2 / 6.5, other than that, nothing new. That's all for now, good smokes 💨💨💨.

eldruida_lamota That family, 2 weeks into flowering, had a male pop up; I hope I don't get any more surprises. Everything else is proceeding the same, they're throwing female pre-flowers, and the big cabinet is doing well. I had to practice some cropping on the tips so they wouldn't grow too tall, and this way, I stimulate the side branches to reach for the light. Normal feeding with base nutrients and big bud with bud candy; I think something simple and basic that suits the plants perfectly. We'll be seeing the progress these weeks to see how this strain performs. Good vibes, family!

eldruida_lamota What's up family, we're here to update on week 3 of flowering and things are getting interesting, they're picking up some colors. I don't think I've mentioned it, but so far there are 2 tents, one with 100w and another with 150w. In the 100w tent, there are 4 Red Cookies Gelato in 7L pots, and in the 150w tent, there are 5 specimens of Red Cookies Gelato in 15L pots. The cropping practice was done in the 150w tent, where you'll see all the central stems topped. So far, I've been feeding them with Advanced Nutrients base nutrients plus Big Bud and Bud Candy. I've had a little issue in the room with humidity, which will be solved soon, although it wasn't much, I have to say it all. (Max humidity indoors was 70% at peak...) that's not good, so the solution is a powerful dehumidifier and keep going. That's all for now, I hope you enjoy the diaries and happy smokes 💨💨💨

eldruida_lamota That family, we are already halfway through flowering, as they say finishing the 4th week, and they are picking up some tones too, those red and purple colors that are harmonizing 😈 I had to tweet the 5 plants from a cabinet, you already saw it, and the tips are reaching towards the light. As you can see in the photos and videos. Some got overfed because not all eat the same, but I reduced the feeding just for those and it's already getting better. Other than that, I will soon start applying the overdrive along with the bud candy for a few more weeks. The temperatures in these indoors are perfect and the relative humidity is correct. That's all for now, I hope you are enjoying it, good smokes and Merry Christmas 💨💨💨

eldruida_lamota What's up family, let's update on this 5th week of flowering, and you won't believe how things are looking, the buds are packed with resin, in both indoors the 9 plants are flowering quite well, there are 3 with minor deficiencies that good nutrients can't fix. Between waterings, it usually takes 2/3 days until the substrate is well dry. The temperature in these 2 indoors is stable, it neither goes above 26 nor below 21, so that's great, the humidity has been controlled in the room, it was a bit high before, now it doesn't exceed 55%. In the photos, you can see that the buds are fattening up and progressing as they should. That's all for now, I hope everything continues like this until the end, let's get some smoke 💨💨💨 and happy new year 🎊.

eldruida_lamota Hey family, I'm back and updating the 6th week of flowering for the Red Cookies Gelato. I'm looking forward to starting new projects, but in the meantime, this variety is progressing really well, maturing and fattening up. We added overdrive and PK, and I don't know if I should look for new nutrients or stick with these; I'm open to suggestions 😂. Out of the 9 plants, only one has had a root wash done. This week I'll practice washing 6 plants, and next week I'll wash the last 2 that I’ll push with feeding. Remember, 5 plants in 15 liters and the other 4 in 7 liters. I can't wait to see what the scale says when everything is dry. I'll leave you some photos so you can see how they are with trichomes; I hope you can appreciate it all perfectly. Good smokes and happy new year to all the stragglers I haven't wished yet 🎁🎉💨💨💨!

eldruida_lamota What's up family, here we are updating for another week. Smoking a joint of Haribo with Rosin from Le Xupet Negre. In the meantime, I’ll tell you that I'm already in the final stretch of these Red Cookies Gelato. To be honest, they are really impressive and well-resined, the buds are very trichome-covered and super swollen. But I also mention that the strain is not entirely stable; it's a bit complicated, you have to keep an eye on them every day to make sure no males pop up because out of 100 plants, 3 males and a few hermaphrodites have shown up. They are fragile. It was my first crossing project, and even so, being the first, it turned out too well because I didn't expect any positive results, but here they are. And all the people who tried it, everyone who took the time to get to know it or showed interest, I appreciate it because you all speak very highly of it even though it’s that fragile. Your opinion is really valued, beasts. I'm going to do water stress; I’ll water less each time so the plants don’t die, but they stop feeding from the roots at the bottom. Besides, the leaves are yellowing faster while they finish maturing. That's all for the week and almost the whole grow, so good smokes and see you next week 💨💨💨

eldruida_lamota Good evening family, how are you? I can feel the delay, but better late than never. Here we update the last week of flowering for this strain, and honestly, I've loved growing it. They've taken on some really beautiful colors and are very frosty, so let's see how they taste and how potent they are once they're dry. I'll keep you updated on the harvest, but soon I'll grab the scissors and get to work. This week they only had water, and for the last 2 days, I left them in the dark to finish up completely. I'll leave you videos and photos, and for the harvest, I'll share many more photos. That's all for now, good vibes! 💨💨

eldruida_lamota Difficult strain to grow, you have to keep an eye on them every day. It's a shame some tend to produce male flowers, however, the quality is very good, they hit hard. Red hot cookies x cookies gelato Hybrid (50% indica / 50% sativa). Indoor Yield: 450/500 g/m2. Indoor Flowering: 8/9 weeks. THC: 25%/28%. CBD: low. Flavor: fruity and sweet. Indoor Height: 90cms-140cms. - Genetic origin of red hot cookies: Tropicanna Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies x Tangie). - Genetic origin of cookies gelato: Girl Scout Cookie X Gelato 33 Possibility of getting red flowers, unknown percentage.
