WEEK #5-Oct 27 to Nov 3 (1st week of flowering schedule)
10/27-Did 3rd feeding of the bloom nute schedule. Right now I'm feeding twice a day at :20 seconds. Runoff checked in at 5.78 Ph and 920 ppm which is right in the range I'm looking for. Plant is looking very healthy. I like where we are heading on this one so far.
10/28-minor defoliation. Runoff 5.8/950
10/30-added 2 seconds to watering cycle (22 sec x 2) as I noticed just a bit less runoff this morning. Plant is getting bigger and consuming more water it appears. Runoff is still in the same range of 950-1,000 ppm. This has been the most consistent series of runoffs I've ever experienced to date. I noticed what looked like the tiniest bit of 'chawing' on a couple of leaves. So to be on the safe side I hit the plant with a quick light coat of neem oil mixed with water to discourage any pests from ruining my Jack party. Will monitor.
11/2-Plant is looking very healthy and taking up the nutrients nicely. Runoffs have been consistently lower than inputs with very steady ph. But I will say the plant is not growing very tall. It's only grown a couple of inches to 8" tall so far but the canopy is spreading out nicely.
