Hi there!
I will grow a QuickOne and a HulkBerry at the same time and in the same conditions.
I'll see what the difference in grow time and weed quality)
Just for fun, I decided to add decorative stones. This is probably old age, my grandmother used to do this when she grew roses and orchids. But I like the way it looks.
The QuickOne grows asymmetrically for reasons I don't understand, I hope this doesn't affect him badly.
Quick one grows pretty freaking form, but I guess it's not a problem.
I turn on second lamp and temperature goes hotter, but in 30 Celcius.
Grows goes well, I continue to water in small portions several times a day (I think at this point the roots have not yet filled the entire space of the pot, so I concentrate the watering under the flower). The fabric pot allows me to do this without fear of lack of oxygen.
But next week I plan to water once a day.
I think I give them a lot of water so 11,12 I stoped watering.
Also I moved both plants to other, bigger grow box
If someone read this, he would have noticed that I transferred them to a new box and they grew up quite well, but hardly.
They have grown a lot this week, I expect preflowering next week.
Preflowering starts, here we go!
25.11.2022 I cut a few sick leaves and used LST first time on this grow. They start to drink a lot of water, more than half litre per day each.
I switched the nutrition of QO to the proportions for flowering, but for HB I left the past for now. I think in the middle or end of this week I will transfer the nutrition of HB too. Along with this, I will change the light mode to 12/12.
QO has grown very strongly and is actively blooming.
I missed a week because I had a lot of work (-__-)
All last and this week I watered with ripen and bloom booster.
This week I'm switching (on the advice of @Naked_farmer) to clean water with balanced pH.
Unfortunately, there are no amber trichomes yet, when they appear, I will flush and harvest.
I got 84g on scales, but I smoked one branch while growing so I guess total weight is 90g.
I dried them for 4 days. Also before harvest I used flash clean for two days and put flower in darkness without watering for two days too.
I found very few, around 1% orange trichomes, but most were white and quite a bit translucent, so I decided to harvest (plus the buds I smoked during flowering were pretty good)
Later I'll add feedback about taste and effect, for now I want to heal buds to be objective.
I think HB is ready, I go to flushing she.
She looks absolutely perfect (I regret that don't know English good enough to find more powerful word to describe it): she have trichomes event on stems.
I tried it last Friday, cut a little badly-grown sprout, and smoke using gravity-bong a little amount, about 0.05-0.1 g and have 3 hour trip with many fun and laughing.
Hello bro.
Shes already on overdose ..and too less humid, needs to be on 70/80s at this point..
Chill out on the nutes bro, a plant dont die from underfeeding but will die for sure from overdosing..
Dont feed until she grows 3 pairs on leaves, unless you grow on coco.
Root nutes are ok but those tripart nutes will kill the plant.
Also theres no need for 20h light, she cant "fotowork" that much with no leaves..
Let her rest as plants grow better on dark periods .
Let 12h on and 12h off until she grows 3 pairs of leaves, then switch to 18h on and 6h off until flower is advanced, back to 12h on 12off then until finish.
You can use this lights schedule even on autoflowers as periods.
Happy grow and good luck
@Naked_farmer, hello-hello!
Thanks for the advice! I changed the light mode to 12/12, increased the humidity up to 80% and changed the watering composition (I left only PH balanced (~6.0) water and rootbooster).
I also washed the soil with water.
BTW I now have one of the two lamps turned on and at half the power (i.e. about 50 watts). Both I will turn on later, when a full-fledged vegetation begins.
looking good. HB is next up to grow. With the TA nutrients what schedule are you using. will be likely using TA again and want to follow something that grow as well as your ladies. Best of luck the rest of the way!
@NamasteDave, thx bro!
I don’t follow any schedule right now, just follow the (https://www.terraaquatica.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/tableauAppli2022.pdf) instructions and water when the top 3-4cm of soil is dry. Currently it’s one liter every ~36 hours, but it’s depends on light scheduling too. When it was 12/12 they drink about 0.5 liter per 24h, mb a little less
Almost there buddy.
I would say at least 2 more weeks until harvest time..maybe those first weeks really delay her..
She will bulk up a lot in these 2 weeks so have patience and let her do her thing.
At this point stop giving her nutes, just plain ph water is all she needs as soil have lots of nutrients yet, let her use them all and enjoy a slow flushed buds !
LEETS GOOO
@magestro, Its why we are here for bud ;)
To teach and learn , and to share our passion .
We cant rush nature , and usually good and better things come for those who wait .
Don't waste all the hard work because 1 or 2 weeks..its almost there and will be amazing .
@Naked_farmer, thx for advice again! you words helps me because i'm already losing my patience and almost started harvesting ahead of time.
But buds grow, slowly, but grows and i hope that at least QO will be ready in a week. I’ll remove all additional nutrients
