August 4 - these seeds were strong growers, I grew out all of the seeds I got but only two made the cut as you will see. Turned out I only had one female after I switched to flower in week 9-10.

When should I harvest, I think I have about a week left, trichromes are mixed and I don’t want to be couch locked, but I may want these seeds to be viable if possible. Seeds is yellow and waxy and not too big. Could be green gelato auto or from a male from this seed pack

Unfortunately, to harvest mature, viable seeds, you often have to sacrifice the buds holding the seeds. Seeds need to be at least brownish to be better than 50% viable, so going on this, you still need 2-3 weeks of seed maturation to go, by which time your buds will be over ripe. The question then becomes, "do I sacrifice my prime buds in order to harvest a few seeds of questionable parentage that may or may not produce reasonable plants once cultivated?" If you are after seeds that will be close to 100% viable, you will need to leave them for the longest possible time, that is, until they get properly shiny brown (light brown at a minimum, but always shiny), which they will do if left long enough. Seeds take between 4 and 7 weeks from when pollinated until becoming mature and what I call "confidently viable". These comments are based on 30+ years of selective home breeding and collecting tens of thousands of seeds in that time.
